There is enough good studios in the mix to give the Switch a steady flow of 3rd party games.

We shouldn't forget the games market is flooded with games and no one has time to play them all, it's all about the quality of the games that will bring gamers to the console, not how many games are available for it.

Zelda, Bomberman, Mario and Mario kart are all looking great and these titles are not on other consoles, a good enough reason to consider a Switch.

Zelda, Bomberman, and Mario Kart are all on other consoles.

Wotbot3391d ago

But not on a PlayStation or Xbox was my point.

I dont care for Mario and didnt even enjoy wiiu mario. All i want is for Zelda to be fun and the portable aspect to be good. Im testintreating this as a portable first and its taking the place of the vita that i broke.

And its pretty sweet how it docks and makes them look better. I'm also excited for it as a powerful handheld

Yh and Nintendo did vr in 1995 and the gameboy player was essentially a GBA dock which came out before PSP.

captainexplosion3391d ago

Docking does not make the games look better. Undocking just handicaps the console to 40%. And its really not that powerful of a handheld. New phones are quite a bit more powerful with a much better screen.

Ummm, there's not new phones that are 'quite a bit more powerful'.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing21d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9221d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit21d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing21d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9221d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
