Definitely like the sound of the quick menu refresh. There was definitely a few things I thought could have been implemented better when it released so it's good they're updating that one. Not really bothered by everything else but external hdd is nice for those who wanted it.

External HDD very welcome. My 500gb ps4 was well past full but i didn't want to deal with installing a new one and transferring data. Seems like holding off on it was the right decision. Now I'll wait for the update to come officially and then it's off to buying a 2tb or maybe a 4tb...

My one big wish came true.. CUSTOM BACKGROUNDS!!! ...it's the small things. BUT External HDD support is icing on the cake! I'll eventually need more room than my 2 TB drive holds I'm thinking..

Its about time.. Not that im complaining but it wasnt exactly a quick update... Oh well, i guess everyone should get used to waiting for games/update to roll out updates.. I think im going to wait for ultimate editions to release for cheaper prices.. Games used to release after they were completed.. Now they release betas and add on the rest later..

Now that it can play Bluray 3d videos, SBS video play back would be nice. The Youtube app has a ton of SBS videos that wont play in PSVR.

External HDD support! So awesome! I was just looking into getting a bigger internal drive. This is great! And 3D movie support with PSVR, great update Sony!

Yes it is! I just downloaded the beta onto my pro. So far the UI seems to be faster. Like side scrolling through all the games the pictures load faster, drop menus for games load faster. Just turned on the boost mode, now just got to decide which older game to use to test it out WHILE shopping for an external HDD on Amazon :) This is why God should've gave us 3 arms.

This is HUGE. The only problem with PS4 was no hard drive support. The one thing XB1 had over PS4 is now gone. Awesome. And I had been complaining for months about 3D Blu rays not working on PS VR so that's cool too. But the quality will suck so don't get your hopes up. Overall, this has to be the biggest update in console history. Not sure how boost mode will work but that sounds cool too.

Wow external HDD support!! I was just wondering how I'm gunna fit Nioh and Horizon on my last 60 GB of space. This is the best update the PS4 has had! Its amazing how in just one month in 2017 how much content the PS4 has delivered. I just bought last guardian today and I'm loving it so far. Looking forward to Nioh in a couple days. PS4 just keeps getting better and better.

i wish they fix the Notification as i got messages there from a year ago and it will not let me delete them

and also fix the primary ps4 account so that license downloaded games dont get a padlock when the psn goes down
as i share my account with my family

all we now need is backwards compatibility with ps3 games
