For Honor E3 2015 vs 2017 PS4 Beta Graphics Comparison Shows Massive Improvement

If you’re expecting another downgrade from a Ubisoft game you’ll be much surprised watching this coparison. It clearly shows that the developers behind For Honor are going to deliver us one of the best looking games of this generation and they mean it!
You can spot many improvements in graphics such as better lightning, more detailed environment and increased blur effect. This seems to be really nice change from what we’re used to see lately. How do you like the changes?

That's a nice surprise. Didn't expect it from Ubisoft. Now if only the game could also deliver that would be splendid.

Really promising game, and it's getting ps4 pro love as well. Too bad it's always online, no way I'll support this.

freshslicepizza3392d ago

so you went online to say that?

@moldybread

I think he means once the game playbase lowers in years the game will close down and you won't be to play it after that point

Impressive update. Looks much nicer in the later build and it wasn't exactly a bad looking game to begin with. Well done dev team!

I gotta say, Ubisoft. You have learn your lesson.

Not really. People lose their shit over "downgrades" but never really understand what is going on. When Watchdogs was first revealed the demo was the size of about 3 blocks of a city that carefully never showed off many far off views, the finished game was a full sized city.

They went a bit over ambitious with special effects and detail with the original demo because the map was so small, like a tech demo. When the final game came out, nobody ever compares the size of the map of the demo to the finished game so how is that a comparison at all?
The same can be said about this Unreal 3 engine tech demo that looks like a tiny little map. https://www.youtube.com/wat... Still, that didn't stop people from losing their shit over it in 2011 even when it lacks any kind of scale or ambition.

Not even sure why I'm defending Watchdogs either, I never touched Watchdogs or its sequel. In fact I have hardly touched anything from Ubisoft this generation except the upcoming South Park game (which they could still screw up with their own studio in charge of it now), Far Cry 4 which was an excellent cross gen game and then regrettably the awful Assassin Creed games. At least they don't have the EA problem though where I haven't touched a SINGLE game from them yet this gen.

Yeah people don't understand how development works, however, it's up to the developers to let the consumers know HEY, this is based on a x amount of radius, because the game isn't fully created we are able to have higher fps, and able to use the gpu/cpu to calculate compute and display graphics at a higher rate then it would be represented in the real game. However, this is our tech demo on what the game could look like however keep in mind this is still a working build.

If EVERY dev said that when they debut their game we would not critique them as much, however, devs come out like idiots saying HEY this our game, the full world will look, n feel like this, our graphics, our computing, our frames, our our our, and not tell consumers they only have 5% of the game actually implemented to show.

i have to say the E3 2015 version looks a bit better the color and overall graphics looks more realistic to me. any way i have a few BETA keys for the PC version so if any one wants an invite leave a message

Fishy Fingers3392d ago

I'd happily except a code if you have a few going spare. Really keen to try it so it would be appropriated.
