It's almost like people want to play good games.

electricrabbit3277d ago

It's almost like people miss the Top Down RPGs with good stories and want to play more of them! But no that can't be it.

One hopes that with a $2000 GPU you can get solid performance...

Jin_Sakai335d ago

Yea all 1% of PC players can enjoy 4K 200fps.

Shiore2u334d ago

And 100% of console players cannot. What's your point?

Eonjay333d ago

@Shiore2u

The point is that the threshold for solid perfromance can not be $2000. That would be a terrible outcome for consumers.

Shiore2u322d ago (Edited 322d ago )

@Eonjay

You can have better performance in anything if you lower settings, consoles do it all the time, practically to abysmal levels. However, that threshold for "solid" that some are use to is a visual eyesore to someone else with reference to better. To get console equivalent or well above doesn't require meeting that price point as an acceptable threshold. Personally it'll be a cold day in hell before I call sub 60 sub 1440p native "solid", that to me is broken.

Dam, they lost this exclusive to PC, this is a big blow. Wonder if we will get a million articles like they do anytime sony loses a exclusive. Hmmmm. #ExclusivesSellConsoles.

DerfDerf2153d ago

They didn't lose anything. Any and all first party games for Microsoft go to PC. Why would this be any different? It's an Obsidian game...Microsoft owns them.

Did I miss the story? Is this coming to PS5, Stadia and Switch? Or does he just mean Windows?

Pillars of Eternity 2 PS4 Review - PlayStation Universe

From PSU: "When the first Pillars of Eternity released on console back in 2017, it was rightfully heralded by many (including yours truly) as one of the finest RPGs on console. With its epic, high stakes narrative, beautifully written characters and stories, compelling quests and superb combat and progression structure, Pillars of Eternity really did feel like a landmark RPG like no other."
