yes! like The Last Guardian or Gravity rush 2! ...not like boring fps gabages which are copying other garbages and bear heavy unrelatable names just to sell

Who hurt you? ( Plays Lionel Richie song )

PixelGateUk3439d ago

He's literally posted on EVERY Resident Evil 7 post

naruga3439d ago

@Edmix...hahaha...... Damn Capcom were one of my favorite devs ...Japanese , prototype, genuine ,talented (most of the nowdays famous japanese developers were working at one point in Capcom)....and now they became one of the worst, destroying beloved IPs like RE,DMC,Street fighter even their flagship Monster Hunter is starting to decay with the unispired Monsters and ridiculous easy mechanics.....(also the upcoming MVC is looking terrible and cheap ...i say it now its an upcoming flop

_-EDMIX-_3438d ago

@nar- Buddy, i used to like Capcom just like you.

In fact for the most part I agree with the post that you listed that majority of their properties have decreased in quality.

But you can't just keep coming on every Resident Evil 7 article just to continuously keep calling it garbage lol

I'm sorry but it's not even a logical Post-its simply you was spewing that you hate it lol

So?

Better this did you see me going on every Devil May Cry reboot article and talking about how much I hated it? No I don't like the game I never purchased it and I didn't waste time going and articles to tell people how much I believe it sucks lol

At the end of the day the only major change in Resident Evil 7 from me playing it for about an hour today is actually simply just the perspective change. ..

There is a return to
limited ammo, Health ,weapons , there is a return to puzzles numerous puzzles
there is a return the item boxes
You're still reading a lots of the story narrative through files..

I'm sorry that you feel the way you feel about Resident Evil 7 but from what I'm playing Resident Evil 7 is actually the closest game to the older Resident Evil series literally since Resident Evil Code Veronica.

None of the features I just told you are in Resident Evil 4- Revelations 2.

If you're upset simply because Resident Evil 7 is in first person I'm not entirely sure why you were ever playing the series in the first place because I don't really believe the major feature that made Resident Evil was simply being in third person , simply because the gameplay physically itself is actually irrelevant to Resident Evil.

What you're actually doing in regards to survival is more important in Resident Evil than what it looks like lol

I'm not sure you're that much of a Resident Evil fan because I basically skipped Resident Evil 6 based on those features not being in the game and I'm having a lot of fun and Resident Evil 7 it very much feels like the older series.

I played in beat every Resident Evil with the exception of this stupid action crap that clearly was not Resident Evil.

Resident Evil 7 is very much Resident Evil in fact I wish that this was the game we got as opposed to Resident Evil 4.

I would have been happy if Resident Evil 4 just started out some sort of action series and they just left the original concept alone.

UCForce3439d ago

It's like you want this game to fail. Who order them to do what you please ? You are so low with that.

chrisx3439d ago

I'd take a great single player experience over multiplayers any day anytime. Most of of the best games in existence are single players

SegaGamer3439d ago

I completely agree. I've always preferred single player over multiplayer and i always will. I don't even play that often with other people.

FallenAngel19843439d ago (Edited 3439d ago )

Microsoft doesn't think that should be the case for most of their games

ninsigma3439d ago

More like most of the time. MP focused games are great and certainly have their place but for me, gaming is about that single player experience. Immersing yourself in a games story and world is fantastic!

bluefox7553439d ago

My most memorable gaming experiences have all been single player.

Game came out in 2017 . I expect the newer console to at least match or be better than the older ones .

Snookies12117d ago (Edited 117d ago )

It's still a great looking game though. Just because it came out years ago doesn't mean it's not demanding. I just started playing it on PC and with maxed out graphics. It really holds up well to current games.

Stevonidas117d ago

PS4 PSU = 250 watts (base model)
PS5 PSU = 220 watts
Switch 2 = 22 watts (docked)

Crazy efficiency from Switch 2.

Deathdeliverer117d ago

I don’t know who keeps posting this guy. The switch does NOT match the PS5 performance. Please put digital foundry vids instead. It beats series S visually. The beginning of the video shows the car hood example. The upscaler is pixelated as hell on switch but smooth, but less detailed on PS4 and not even on PS5s league. That’s the upscaler trying to make 540p look higher res. I really don’t understand the reasoning for the gas lighting.

Neonridr117d ago (Edited 117d ago )

what are you even talking about? where do you get 540p? The game is rendering at 1080p and then upscaling to 4k on the TV.

are you somehow confusing this analysis with Requiem?

repsahj117d ago

Even if it comes from 240p, I don't have a problem with it. What matters is the end result. RE7, 8, and 9 are very detailed on the Switch 2 in docked and handheld mode.

Neonridr117d ago

it says on the video 4k from a base 1080p. Where do you get 540p from?

Benjaminkno116d ago

He’s referring to “native” output and ignoring the upscaling. 90% of these nintendon’ts clamored for a “better performing switch” only to pretend it’s not what they asked for. If they were to play this game without seeing hair, they couldn’t tell the difference.

Neonridr115d ago

@Benjaminkno - I think this person is thinking of Requiem, which was using a base 540p. Clearly they can't read.

Well at least there are games like angry birds or clash of clans for mobile gamers :-)

Cacabunga709d ago

Good it flopped.. they must have realized that the target audience is totally different

ABizzel1709d ago

This is a win for gaming even if it’s not an ideal experience on iPhone yet:

1. It’s a huge step forward for mobile gaming showing in the next 2 - 4 years this will be a solid 720p@30fps experience for AA / AAA PS4-PS5 quality games on a device we carry with us everywhere.

2. It’s a huge step forward for Apple gaming in general which has been underwhelming for years running NATIVELY and flawlessly on any M2 / M3 / M4 iPad and MacBook. At worst 900p@60fps Medium-High Settings + Metal on the M2 iPad, 1440p@60 - 80fps Max settings on the M3 Pro Max which is equivalent to a RTX 4060 / RX 6700XT, so slightly above console settings…..but in a $3000 - $4000 laptop (Apple and they’re ridiculous prices).

3. But most important for all of us, it shows what the future of mobile platforms like the Switch 2 will be capable of and ports like RE7, RE Village, and RE4 Remake should be lined up for the Switch 2, optimized even more for mobile PC like SteamDeck / ROG, and eventually Android based platforms.

OtterX710d ago

Who the hell would want to play this on a phone?

ABizzel1709d ago

The iPhone version won’t be good for another 2 years (iPhone 18) or so when they have their next fabrication node (2nm), so they can hopefully improve the CPU cores (AA/AAA games will need 3 or 4 performance cores instead of 2), add 2 more GPU cores, and improve memory bandwidth with LPDDR6.

Then it should be a stable 720p - 900p resolution, @ locked 30fps, Medium-High Settings, with better Type-C out for larger displays.

KwietStorm_BLM710d ago

Apple users ain't gamers. I don't know whether this push with "metal" was just to say they did it and it's possible to run modern games, or if Capcom just said hey more units is better, but either way this shouldn't be all that surprising.

ChasterMies709d ago

You say that but everyime I’m waiting for one of my kids’ events to start, I see an audience full of kids playing games on phones. No Nintendos. Just phones. Lots of Minecraft. Lots of Clash of Clans style games.

jwillj2k4709d ago

Roblox as well. Gigantic mega platform. Kids can’t get enough of it. Sony/Nintendo would be wise to integrate more with their platform as kids get older.

KwietStorm_BLM709d ago

Playing clash of clans doesn't make you a *gamer.* Most mobile games are designed to literally be time wasters and money pits. They're for casuals who don't actually have a gaming platform. Kids on phones today is just a symptom of the modern era. Doesn't mean gaming is what they're really into, as proven by those sales numbers.

Goodguy01710d ago (Edited 710d ago )

Mobile gamers only want simple games and gachas. Nobody wants to pay up front for a mobile game, you have to hide it behind micro transactions lol.

Androids hardware is so fragmented

Sgt_Slaughter709d ago (Edited 709d ago )

But has enough models that outpace the iPhone that it would be a much better showcase of how AAA games could run on mobile. Not to mention the entire east Asian mobile market.
