They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Others say it's a desperate attempt at attention from people out of ideas who have been soundly whipped by the new bully in the schoolyard. That bully is Apple, and with the resounding panning of the new advertising campaign from Microsoft, Bill Gates is poised to flatter the pants off Steve Jobs.

A whiny guy dressed like the original PC actor complaining about the "I'm a Mac" ads?
This is a joke, right? MS didn't trade Jerry Seinfeld for THIS idea, did they?
That's gotta be a joke.
...So shouldn't it be on BAD Joystick?
LOL
I'm definitely not one to defend Microsoft cause I think they have a lot of problems to fix when it comes to their OS, but I do find it ironic that a company who only exists today because Microsoft bailed them out years ago when their stock wasn't crap is taking shots at Microsoft. Sure, MS flopped with Vista and most of their other OS, but the only reason Apple is even in business is because Bill didn't want Apple to flop years back because Microsoft actually NEEDS Apple to stay in business because if they go down then MS gets hit with Anti trust suits because they'd be a monopoly.
I just always thought that was funny. MS should bring that up in their ads. Maybe Steve would stfu if they did that.
If they pull it off, it'll be great.
Of course, I'd like to see a REALLY good ad agency work for them...like what they did with the new Gears of War 2 trailer they released yesterday...
