Thanks, Corndog. You were one of the people who told me it does in fact tie into the story arc of the previous games and I greatly appreciate that!

Yeah, I get that they wanted to keep the plot elements secret until release, so they didn't mention them at all. But in this case I think it probably hurt them a little. Admittedly, the game doesn't look like a Resident Evil game at face value. So in order to draw people in, especially oldschool fans, they should have focused on showing as mucb as they could that resembled the old games.

I'm not saying they should have given away plot points, but they could have made it more clear that the plot does in fact tie in with the rest of the series. Instead, it took some digging to learn that pre-release.

At any rate, I can't wait to pick up my copy. I've loved RE since the original and have played through all of them, even the ones that were not very good, if for no other reason than to see where the story took the series. So I'm pretty excited.

@Nathan_ Hale53 As someone who didn't like DeadRising 1 and 2, but entered into the DeadRising world with 3 and 4, I can tell you DeadRising 4 was solid fun. One of the best titles I enjoyed in 2016.

I think 4 is the worst in the series. Lack of details, worse Frank, no psychopaths, re-moving a lot of things that made Dead Rising, Dead Rising, despite saying they are "returning to their roots". I disliked it a lot.

Hoping for a small Direct for these games. Especially RE9.
