Will Capcom Bring the Resident Evil 7 to Nintendo Switch?

Express Online has spoken to producer Masachika Kawata and director Koshi Nakanishi to find out if the Nintendo Switch games lineup is about to be given a boost.

Unforunately, however, it doesn't look good for Nintendo Switch fans with a taste for survival horror.

Neonridr3409d ago (Edited 3408d ago )

they said they have no plans at the moment. At least use the correct wording instead of making up your own.

@below, no he still said the same thing. He just said not likely. Which is not what the devs said. Just pointing out some correct wording.

Uh? Hes not quoting anyone though

Did he write something diferent before the edit?

paddy953409d ago (Edited 3408d ago )

The Switch can't handle current gen games. Zelda is the same as the WII U version lol.

I used to buy Nintendo home consoles expecting 3rd party support. Alas, the continuous lies that Nintendo perpetuated with the Wii U, together with how well the console fared in the marketplace, was the final straw that broke the camel's back.

Fool me once... Shame on you. Fool me twice... Shame on me.

I can definitely imagine previous Wii U owners, and those who never caved into Nintendo's extortionate demands for the Wii U hardware not buy into the embellished lies that Nintendo has once again iterated regarding the Switch and its third party support.

£280 extra for the "best" version of Zelda, not to mention the extra cost of the accessories, together with the rip-off price of £60 for the game... Ha ha, Nintendo must think people are daft... Especially when the competition are running circles around them in terms of having high calibre titles that remain exclusive to their platforms.

And people thought 10million-odd Wii U sales was bad...

"No 3rd party thanks, we hate money"

PaulKersey3408d ago

Third parties don't want to release a neutered version of their games so it will play on the weakest console.

Then why release games on consoles period ?

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio24d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing24d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9224d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit24d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing24d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9224d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

To be fair, there are also human made games that release and lack any fun at all either.

jznrpg27d ago

But all of the great games have been made by humans

One is by choice, the other is a feature.

Guild Wars 2 been playing for 14yrs, 1st beta. This is just one company I support, Arenanet and NCSoft, even though I torrent, there are a few PC companies I will buy from. "PlayStation’s Horizon MMO spin-off, Horizon Steel Frontiers." I feel this will be good, NCSoft is a good developer/publisher.

It’s a tool. Use it elevate things and get it done faster. I’m sorry but not every game made by humans is good. If this can help things, then I fully embrace it.
