Gaming Bolt: "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is the next numbered chapter in the long running survival horror series from Capcom. GamingBolt recently had a chance to sit down with Series Producer Masachika Kawata and we asked him some questions we’ve had about the hotly anticipated game."

Resident Evil 7 has massively flopped by making fewer than 2000 purchases on iOS, with other console mobile ports also performing poorly.
Well at least there are games like angry birds or clash of clans for mobile gamers :-)
Apple users ain't gamers. I don't know whether this push with "metal" was just to say they did it and it's possible to run modern games, or if Capcom just said hey more units is better, but either way this shouldn't be all that surprising.
Mobile gamers only want simple games and gachas. Nobody wants to pay up front for a mobile game, you have to hide it behind micro transactions lol.

Fan favorite Resident Evil 7 is coming to mobile, but once again, Capcom is only releasing the game on Apple’s latest phones and tablets.

Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
"For Resident Evil 1 fans why should they be excited to play Resident Evil 7?
Resident Evil 7 is very much returning back to the roots of survival horror. So for those fans who really enjoy that element of not knowing what’s right around the corner, really having that sense of fear and that atmosphere, this is definitely a title for them. It very much resonates with what Resident Evil 1 offered."
Only with absolutely nothing that makes a RE game, a RE game. Oh wait, think they included herbs. You could have slapped any other name on this junk, and it would've sold just as well.
