Weak?! Understatement of the year, it's downright abysmal

Zelda is honestly enough for me. Though march is packed if you already own a ps4, wich I recon most do. Horizon, Nier, Mass Effect, Wildlands, KH 1.5 + 2.5 HD, South park and Persona 5 in early april.
Having a new Zelda, a new secondary console and all the games coming out on ps4 is showing how march is going to be one heck of a month if you can afford it.

I think Switch will be way better of as your secondary console. If you play a lot of games owning only a switch won't do it. Though imho Switch is going to be one fantastic console to have alongside my PS4 as I can take it with me on the go.

IMHO is decent enough, 1 heavy hitter is all a console launch needs

Did my eyes just actually read that someone stated that Knack was comparable to a Mario game???!!!!!!! I mean really? That's just false! I understand everyone is different but no one could really believe that.

After seeing so many people get hyped over what they thought would be a perfect launch lineup, it's going to be interesting watching their reactions as reality crashes down on their hopes

The big issue is that the switch is launching in a month that has Mass Effect, Ghost Recon, Horizon, Nier and more. Players have been excited by those and will rather fork out less money to play them on the consoles they already own.

It's unfortunate because nintendo were in between a rock and a hard place. Last year Sony had the pro and psvr while Microsoft have the Scorpio at the end of this year. Nintendo, unfortunately had little choice. It's just unlucky that it's releasing in a month flooded with games on more powerful, with bigger install bases and if someone doesn't have any console, at a cheaper price.

It's going to be a tough one

One Mario game = 999999 game. So dont worry about it.

That is one WEAK lineup (coming from someone who hasn't owned a Nintendo system since the SNES and will probably preorder the Switch).

Where is the Virtual console support?! I would be a LOT more forgiving if they gave me access to a ton of N64, GameCube And even Wii games.

That would solve the price and lack of software issues.

32 GB of memory is an issue. Even with an SD upgrade storage is well below other systems.

Seems to me if the launch line up or system isn't interesting you the best thing you can do is spend all your time trying to convince those who are excited that they are indeed wrong and should adopt your opinions and yours alone.

As it stands, I won't be buying it but if you like what you see and are planning to pick it, more power to you. Enjoy it and happy gaming.

I am a huge nintendo fan, but i have to agree with that the switch is looking bad at the moment, i am considering getting one but for the sole reason to play zelda, apart from that game i didnt see anything that interested me, well maybe the new mario game, but have you seen the graphics?! The cars looked like they were made out of carboxes, i have to agree that the game looks like a ps3,xbox 360 game, i dont think switch is much stronger than the wii u, i am sad cos i was quite exited to see the new nintendo platform, i had high hopes but i was left disapointed, also £280 in the uk with no game?! You can get a xbox one or a ps4 with one game for £250, i have to make a desicion if i want one but if i had to choose right now i dont think i would spend that much money to play one game at launch!!!

Mario is not a launch title & Mario Kart is out in April its a weak launch line up

I'm anything but a Nintendo fan and even I can recognise that the Switch launch lineup is pretty good, especially when you compare it to what PS4 and Xbox One had at launch. I'm sure though I'll get called a Nintendo fanboy...

Edit: Okay, seems like I was wrong. There were a few titles I thought were launch games, but they're just slated for this year. Whoops.

The entire conference was a disappointment. The games, the price, the awkwardness. I am waiting for more games in the fall to get mine.

But that list is a little depressing. Thankfully all I care about is Zelda at the moment.

What launch lineup?

I think they had a solid lineup, maybe they didn't show all launch titles during the press conference, however they had a very good show. It's not easy cramming what Nintendo consoles can do within one hour however they nailed it between hardware and software.

Nintendo really messed this up, the hype and excitement for switch was genuine, people didnt want to know more about it, they needed to know more about it, the price gets revealed...and people feel a little disappointed, but its ok, because they know the games are coming next and its going to be great......no. We get Zelda, and dont get me wrong, huge game, i cant wait to get lost in that world, but nintendo really should have hit with mario deluxe and atleast 3 other titles so there are 5 games off the bat to keep people happy. This is a real missed opportunity, wii u owners need not bother for now to buy a switch, whats the point, ive pre ordered mine today, but i dont understand why nintendo just didnt make 100% there were some stellar titles at launch, games like mario should have been there, end of story, this isnt a dig, or bashing nintendo, its a shame only 1 quality game will be available, perhaps they should have launched a few months later to give the games time to be ready.

Mario, Zelda, Xenoblade, Splatoon 2? Thats the best first year of a console ive seen in a while. As far as the launch is concerned. Its alright, Great for people who don't own a Wiiu though. ARMS will probably be a great game. It's reveal reminds me alot of Spaltoon's. ignored initially because it was shown at a bad time.
