A Monolith Soft game is on the horizon and it is Xenoblade 2 for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has announced a new eShop sale to tie in with this year’s edition of The Game Awards.
As much as I love Nintendo, only giving 30% off on first party games that are 1 year old or older is really cheap and greedy.
How much you want discount? 90%? I mean, I get it, some those are 1 years old games, but those games still sell well (and some score very well such as Mario and Xenoblade) and Nintendo games often retain their value overtime unlike most games which got discounted not even one month after release.
Nintendo rarely drops the prices and if they do, it aint much. Botw still goes for $60 at retail. But hey it means you can sell them used pretty high if you get the physical version that is.
But 50% off VC2 and Wolfy 2 though? Those are great deals!
Nintendo has a lot of love for their 1st party IPs. I see that as a good sign that they aren't trying to deeply discount them.
Let's be thankful that the Game Awards have become so big that Nintendo and Sony are using it as an opportunity to give us a sale.
It's good to be a JRPG on the Nintendo Switch. According to Monolith Soft Executive Director Tetsuya Takahashi, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and its recent DLC, Torna: The Golden Country, surpassed Monolith Soft's commercial expectations, especially in the West.
Good news! This is my favorite Switch game, it deserves the sales. I'm also picking up the Torna expansion later.
This is my favorite game of recent years. I have somewhere around 700hrs invested in it haha. I just finished Torna The Golden Country last night, and it was everything an expansion should be imo.
I am happy to hear of the great sales. Hopefully something can be worked out with the older IPs (gears, saga) so they can see a rerelease, but I know that's a long shot. Either way I'm looking forward to whatever Monolith Soft does next.

I wonder if Xenoblade will ever win. I hope they do someday. Hey at least Ocotpath will be in the running and I hope it at least wins for best music. If Nier can then it's possible.
Haven't played Octopath yet but I have a hard time believing that it has a better soundtrack than Xenoblade.

Now that drop like a BOMB! my favorite JRPG director along with my favorite JRPG composer along with the character designer of the movie "Expelled from Paradise" which I liked very much, WTF! FU Nintendo although I was not interested at all to buy your new console you cheat by buying the studio of Tetsuya Takahashi & now you make me to wanna buy your console just to play that game T__T although there is another exclusive Nintendo game franchise I love very much, Fire Emblem, & I'm sure that new console will get one sooner or later, d@mn that made me skeptical now, I wanna play this! I'm certain that this will be an amazing game & it will offer everything that trash FFXV couldn't, amazing story, amazing characters, amazing soundtrack & amazing combat with depth, the complete opposite in short from the shallow combat FFXV had.
