2017 has only just begun and all of the big three will want to make it their own. Here are 5 moves Microsoft will need to make to win 2017.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Cancel Scalebound. No wait that's what they shouldn't do.
"Scalebound was delayed to sometime in 2017"
About that...
See new Ips till the end....
2017 barely began and Microsoft already made a big screwup by cancelling Scalebound
I'm sorry, but these reasons are just wishful thinking. None of what we have seen has increased Microsoft's market share against Sony this generation.
After what we saw today with one of the canceled games, the first reason and the rest of the games listed aren't going to produce a blow against Sony. Let's just be truthful here. Microsoft's biggest guns of halo, gears and Forza haven't made a dent in Sony's lead. Cup head looks awesome. But that's not a big gun compared to Sony's worldwide studios, second and third party support. That comes from being so far ahead.
They are already working with third parties now. And that has not helped them gain any traction because again, Sony is so far ahead that they are offering Sony first dibs on exclusives.
Nailing the price point and the power for Scorpio is great. But if it doesn't have the games and internal studios to back it up, it won't mean much in making a dent into Sony's huge lead.
Games with gold is a cool offering. It's about time Microsoft gave back after taking 10 years worth of XBL from gamers and offering nothing and having things behind a pay wall. Was it enough to make a dent into Sony's lead? Nope.
Backwards compatibility is a great feature. We can all agree. But it has done nothing to Sony's lead. No serious blow to Sony. No 360 game is going to make a dent into Sony's lead. Sony not having backwards compatibility has not hurt Sony extending their lead over Microsoft. Downplaying Sony's offering of a game streaming service with PS Now is not hurting Sony's lead.
The only possible way for Microsoft to deal a huge blow to Sony and Nintendo is to buy Electronic Arts, the largest third party developer. And two, make Scorpio a PC sold as a console for $399 that allows you access to all Steam games and be compatible with Vive and Oculus. That is called a blow. All that nonsense in the article is not.
