Co-founder and developer of Ark: Survival Evolved shows his enthusiasm for Microsoft's Scorpio, saying the console will help VR look better.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
of course it could and developers dont have to accomodate the regular xbopx one and make huge compromises.
We don't hear much VR related anymore. This thing has been hyped so much that it didn't give the right effect i am afraid. I am really not sure VR will pick up.

If their argument is "it'll unlock VR's true potential, because it's more powerful hardware" then why aren't they messing around with what GPUs are already on the market? I can't see how Scorio's going to have something more powerful than a 480 and be below $500.
And PCs can't??
That's some fancy spin on the headline. Actually talking about the development of VR going forward as a whole for ARK.
Basically a throwaway comment about being interested in the Scorpio when it's available.
Question whether they conducted this 'interview', doesn't appear so, in that case credit the source so people can make their own assumptions based on the full information.
