There is a difference between a fix and a nerf when it comes to competitive gaming.
In 2023, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, Overwatch 2 was released, which was basically a big, glorified update of the original game that launched in 2016. Now, it’s simply reverted to being called just Overwatch, which is probably for the best.
The second iteration of Overwatch was released on the original Nintendo Switch, and while it’s still an enjoyable game with cross-play/progression functions, it’s still lacking in terms of performance and visuals, compared to its PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S counterparts. Well, it was.
As of today, the second iteration of Overwatch is natively available on the Nintendo Switch 2, just in time for Season 2: Summit.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Overwatch will have increased resolution both in handheld and docked modes, enhanced textures and lighting, up to 60 frames-per second, improved audio and more.
Blizzard is readying a patch to address the issue that the game is still running in Switch 1 build and just 30 fps.

Nexon has entered a publishing agreement with Blizzard for Overwatch in Korea, with the companies working to deliver services 'tailored' for the region.
The four-part Blizzard Showcase will reveal “what comes next” for each series…
Will give him more consistency though
Pulling people out from around corners, through walls or across entire maps when they're not within your line of sight is definitely an ability that needed to be fixed. Any "skilled" player should be able to hook an opponent without having to rely on that ridiculous magic hook behavior in order for it to be successful, and imo, there's really not that much skill involved if the move is almost always guaranteed to work regardless of the situation. I mean, why should a roadhog be able to hook someone who's standing behind cover or a wall or an object when none of the other characters (& rightly so) can SHOOT thru the same walls or objects? This isn't a matter of a few players who just narrowly escape being hooked by quickly retreating to cover or dashing around corners, this is about players who've completely left roadhogs line of sight and somehow still end up getting hooked after the fact and then pulled thru the level in a way that makes absolutely no sense. If anything, these changes exemplify the kinda skill necessary in order to use roadhog's hook effectively under different circumstances without having to depend on an automatic contingency in lieu of player precision. You only need to take a look at the many "roadhog crazy hook" videos in order to see how broken and unbalanced it can be at times. https://www.youtube.com/wat... Bottom line: If you can't see me, you shouldn't be able to hook me. Plain and simple.
