Wolfpack team, has announced that their first project will be -- are you ready for this? -- an MMORPG that looks a lot like Shadowbane. Shock and awe.
While a name has yet to be given to this new title, which is based upon an original intellectual property, the pictured concept art and the announcement itself all seem to point to a heavy Shadowbane influence. Player versus player combat looks to be the focus once again as "characters, guilds, and global factions will engage in meaningful, exciting, and fun mass combat."

There have been plenty of bugs in the history of MMORPGs that caused problems for players across the world, and gave the developers a tough nut to crack. Some of them were funny, others nothing short of infuriating. And then there was the plague of Azeroth.

GameDynamo - "MMOs come and go. Some, you'd probably be surprised to hear are still up and running (Warhammer Online or Dark Age of Camelot anyone?) but there are a handful of MMOs that were pretty decent that just couldn't last. "
Beta tested Earth and Beyond and Shadowbane, hated both. I miss Tabula Rasa, that is the one I liked!
Wow, I do remember playing Rubies of Eventide during my first foray into free online mmo's. I barely got out of the training section but I remember feeling dumb-struck by the amount of classes on offer.
Good times. The internet felt like a vast and larger place, waiting to be explored...

Massively Multiplayer Online Games (MMOs) are virtual persistent worlds that allow 100′s to thousands of players to simultaneous play and be part of the same game world. All MMOs have the leveling treadmill type of gameplay common to nearly all roleplaying games, however, there are a few core features that are exclusive to persistent worlds such as Player Housing, Crafting with Player Trading of created items (merchants), and of course Player Interaction including combat (PvP).
