Why Do We Keep Buying Broken and Buggy Games?

The last episode of A Telltale Batman series has come to a buggy,
frame-rate dropping, conclusion with its last episode. Which makes us
wonder, why do we let studios like Telltale off the hook for making such
bug riddled games?

Because companies rush them out to meet deadlines and its often too late for gamers to know what they are getting.

We buy them because we are genuinely interested in the games. It just sucks to get crap.

The buggiest game ive ever owned is Dead Rising 4.

In 30 hours, its crashed in me 3 times.

Other than that, every other XB1 game i own, which is nearly 200, works fine.

I feel sorry for PC users, they spend all that money on top of the range hardware, and all you hear about is broken games and shoddy console ports.

I don't, because they haven't gotten a clue that they're a minority in their own market.

Yeah but... PC has thousands of games. Literally thousands. I say this as someone who primarily plays PS4. Personally, I like the convenience of consoles, but you can't deny how great the PC gaming scene is. If you do, you're either ignorant or an idiot.

Because games can still be fun if the bugs aren't too bad. Developers need to lower their ambitions and polish what they have instead of making so much content.

Game Developers are making less videogame content (no free unlockables, only the witcher 3 [GTA V is a remastered game from last gen doesn't count] is the only next-gen game with mini games, map editors [PC games still get map editors, sadly console games do not get map editors], etc.). The game is more buggy, crashy, etc. despite the lack of content.

Ill disagree with this.

Modern day games are huge compared to previous games.
