So it won't be good for mobile gaming??? Way to screw the customer Nintendo.

NukaCola3441d ago

That's pretty lame when the game costs $10.

Summons753441d ago

Ouch. First charging for a mobile game then online only? Welp, my answer is still no...I'll wait for a proper Mario game.

Don't all phone games have this? Or at least the vast majority of ones with microtransactions? Not defending it, but it's nothing new.

cartoonx13441d ago

it is new, endless runners can be played offline except for buying/store section. should have an offline mode.

Well, I don't have the data on the amount of games with microtransactions that can be played offline, but in my experience, almost every smart phone game I've played that had a store and microtransactions, prevented you from playing offline. but...b.. but Nintendo is great it cares for its fan base and it cares of this gaming industry right right people ?? LOL!

DillyDilly3441d ago

I really liked Mario Run's model. Pay once, unlock everything.
Unfortunately, people prefer to be whales, so Nintendo saw real money lies in microtransactions and gacha mechanics. So now I feel less and less excited for each new mobile game they announce.

Is Nintendo Ruining Mario on Mobile
