When people started advertising power, frame rates, and resolution, instead of the actual game - leading to massive hype that often fails to deliver.

It's not a real problem if you play on the PS4, which as like double the install base of the XB1.
Multiplayer games on PS3/360 are pretty much dead right now unless its a Call Of Duty game or GTA V.
TIP: Buy the most popular console and you'll avoid these kinds of issues.
I just love gaming first and foremost. I don't care so much as what it looks like as long as it is entertaining. I do, however like my games to run smoothly and without much in terms of loading times.
