I feel like the title of this article is clear enough for me to not need to write anymore on the idea but I suppose I should explain myself better in case some of you don’t know about Shadow of Mordor’s nemesis system and how cool it could be in RDR2. A ‘Next Gen’ Feature …

Take-Two announced its financial results for Q2 of fiscal year 2026, and shared an update on the sales of GTA5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
You think Rockstar views Red Dead 2 as a failure because it didn't sell 150m copies?
I must be one of the few who are fine with the GTA6 delay. People treat that game like it’s the 2nd coming lol.

Dan Houser opens up about Red Dead Redemption 2’s rocky development, calling it behind schedule, massively over budget, and full of pressure to prove doubters wrong.
The world they built is pretty amazing. Unfortunately, the game was mostly boring to me. I definitely had fun in some parts, but it didn't do it for me as a whole like the first one did. I loved RDR so much.
The budgets and time it takes to make games these days is out of control. Such a big risk. If a game isn't a huge hit, it is often it for a studio. Scary. I really miss the PS2 and PS3 days where studeios could make 4 games in a generation and take risks in making something new. And so many were using their own engines. Those were the days.

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans took to social media to honor D'Angelo.
I was listening to D Angelo when he debuted in 1995. He had some great songs from that period up in to the early 2000s. He was a talented Neo Soul musician. I never knew his music was in RDR. May he R.I.P.
That could work really well actually!
How about they pay Monolith Productions to use their tech instead of doing like a crooked apple tactic .
With all those gangs and stuff this could work wonders for the game...JUST imagine if we could all make our own gangs and other people could mess with them and try and get members to betray us? That would be AMAZING.
I've been waiting for more developers to use variations of what the Nemesis System is and Red Dead 2 would be great actually. What Monolith Productions did was a true next gen idea made tangible. I love that game and am looking forward to playing it again on the Pro tomorrow, even if the upgrade for that game isn't eminence. It was a great looking game in it's own right so any upgrade is welcome in my book. Again I hope more developers expand on the idea that Monolith started.
please....someone steal it!
