The PlayStation 4 Pro is currently doing well, if reports are to be believed. Apparently, the pre-orders for the system are beyond what Sony expected, which seems to indicate that the system is on track to do well. But this is reductive reasoning, and it seems to miss on some very important facts- it misses that no hard numbers have been shared. It misses that strong pre-orders don't necessarily translate into sustained success for products. And it misses that even products that went on to eventually fail, including the Sega 32X, the PlayStation Vita, and the Wii U, saw an incredible uptake in pre-orders, none of which amounted to much once the systems were actually available.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Seriously, GamingBolt ?
"Will they be willing to spend $400 on a PS4 Pro when a PS4 Slim is much cheaper?"
I don't think it matters to Sony wether you buy a PS4 Slim or a Pro, or wether you have a launch model PS4 or one of the other two models. What matters to them is that you have a PS4. As every console maker, they just want a user base that is as large as possible, so they can sell you games, peripherals and online memberships. That's where the real money comes from. These different models are just to have a wide appeal to different target audiences, thus increasing the overall user base of the PS4.
Shit pre-orders must be the way to go then lol
Reading the article has given me a headache 😄 load of drivel
Really Gamingbolt, this article is straight-up pitiful. Do some real ones for once!
I agree there are still tons of people who think the Pro has the same specs as the Xbox one S and that it doesn't do native 4k at all, Sony and the media have done a terrible job of giving out clear information, hell even articles on N4G here are filled with misinformation.
