I'd prefer they focus on improving their output of home console games, over catering to this latest fad.
Droughts were an issue last gen. Focusing on VR in any capacity at the moment would just be time and resources taken away from development of normal home console games and proper advertisement, not to mention forming deals with more third parties, all of which the Switch needs far more than VR games in the short term.
If they're gonna do VR, let it be later on, when the Switch has established itself into a strong position and they have the room to stretch their resources out a bit.
