"With the console market already a very crowded place with three different consoles serving the needs of three (mostly) different demographics, what would happen if a fourth company released another console? It seems like the answer simply would be that the market isn't big enough for four consoles and it would be destined to fail. However, what if that company was already one of the biggest companies in gaming, and..."

It's important in life to maintain a broad palette when it comes to culture and the arts. Hideo Kojima agrees, as he continues to use video games like Death Stranding to introduce people to music and other elements they might not otherwise discover.

Mojang has partnered with Merlin Entertainments to build the world's first Minecraft theme park in the UK.

A three-episode live-action adaptation of the first two Yakuza video games will debut Tuesday, March 17 exclusively IGN. Each episode is about an hour long and will stream on IGN.com and IGN’s YouTube channel.
You're right about the FF crowd, for Japan. But with Blizzard's catolog they would have most of Asia locked in between gold farming in WoW in China and pro gaming competitions in Korea on Starcraft
I don't think they have enough games under there belt to do this plus all but a few of those titles they have coming out all rely on multi platform
World of Warcraft
Guitar Hero
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Call of Duty
Spiderman
James Bond
Tony Hawk
Diablo 3
Starcraft 2
Geometry Wars
Project Gotham
WOW, GH, COD, are the 3 biggest games they have none of them alone could keep a single system alive Spiderman comes out usually when a movie hits, as well as James Bond Unless they jump in some huge merger with EA and Ubi soft this will never happen IMO.
I think that it's already crowded enough with Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.
At this point in video game console history, I don't think that a console from a new manufacturer would fare too well in the market unless it was Apple.
The only AAA game they have is the COD series. The only logical solution is to stay a third party and make the most money because they sell their games on every console including the pc in the video game market. They would be stupid to make their own console because they would be just a fraction of the market share then.
