I think I must be the only person who absolutely loved Scavengers Odyssey. I hope Sony develop that into a full game. But yeah - The Kitchen Demo. That was what did it for me. I had to actually think long and hard before playing it a second time. I played it a second time and still crapped my pants. I really don't know if I can handle the full game.

How long before we see summarshall or whatever his name is, pops in to comment on something he knows nothing about.

Mike I had a go at scavengers odyssey, couldn't get out the door lol. threw some boxes about, but gave up

As I have already stated my favourites have been Batman, Until Dawn Rush of Blood ( I dont think you would cope Mike) and Headmaster.

I'm excited for whats coming to VR, Star Trek already pre ordered

Had the same problem when I did the demo at a local Best Buy. You have to pull the locks off of each corner and it opens the door. The boxes were not needed and was a distraction.

Yeah, I got through the first level of Until Dawn Rush of Blood... but erm... yeah I'm errr... not afraid or anything... it's just ermm.. that err... you know... stuff...

:)

Scavenger's Odyssey was cool to experience, but there were only 3 types of bad guys and none of them really felt like they could hurt you. Jumping from asteroid to asteroid and the story was good though. London Heist had the best replay value on VR Worlds only because of the shooting range and the one highway scene were you actually get to experience some decent action.

Man, I know the review scores are terrible for it, but Batman VR was so incredible like it took me back when I was looking at Penguin and doing the shrapnel investigating in the morgue and putting the bomb together. The game is nothing short of amazing to experience.

kraenk123489d ago

They aren't terrible at all.

Versability3489d ago

Even I gave Arkham a 70 out of 100. It is absolutely amazing because you're Batman and the first runthrough is something every comic book fan should experience. However, it's too short, you never really get to unleash you batskills on any enemies, and when replaying for Riddler items, you realize the entire thing was just a tutorial. It's an amazing game, but still a shallow launch title, so it didn't get the perfect scores it would have if there were a few mini games and a little more action.

I really think Here They Lie should be on that list. And Thumper

ArchangelMike3489d ago

Definately Thumper, but I couldn't get into Here They Lie, it really made me feel sick. I really wanted to like it.

Solid portfolio of VR experiences already for a launch batch, it seems. Problem is, with the advent of digital content and VOD, video rental stores have all but disappeared (where I live at least, but not only here), and those stores were exactly the kind of places which would've maybe bought a PS VR and offered it for rent with a couple of games to go along with it, enabling people like me who are on the fence to test it and see whether we could cope with it without feeling any motion sickness or not before buying it. Now I may never get a chance to give it a try at all. Ah, bummer.

Amiga-guy3489d ago (Edited 3489d ago )

Motion sickness was one of my biggest concerns, as I suffer motion sickness, it has proved unfounded as most experiences have had little to no effect on me, there are a few, but I stear clear and enjoy what VR has to offer, which has to be seen to fully understand the game changer it is.

Good list but Thrill of the Fight 2 and Racket Club should be in this. TOFT 2 is one hell of a work out and even found myself watching boxing instructional videos in order to improve. Racket Club does an amazing job adapting tennis, badminton and pickleball into something that feels realistic but fits in with smaller VR spaces.

Both of these are great games!
