Exactly as above: My family have been playing since we got it and all (even the wife haha) love it. The wow-effect is awsome.. Cant w8 for more apps to come out.

Sure is. Just needs more games which will come. Personally I can't wait for Star Trek: Bridge Crew and the free VR mission for Star Wars: Battlefront.

If they eventually officially support PC or someone in PC community finds a way to do it, it will just be icing on the cake.

It's unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. A few games made me dizzy a bit, and I'm sure that sort of stuff will be ironed out in time, but it was so amazing I was willing to push through it,

I'm surprised at the variety of stuff to play on launch, so far my absolute favorites have been Rez, Thumper, the London Heist shooting range demo and Job Simulator is just so funny.

It's pretty good, but my Oculus is much much better. If you can only get one and have a good PC I'd go with Oculus. The tracking and the playable area for the PSVR camera are just horrible, but there is almost no screen door effect.

It was fun, and very cool to try out. Unfortunately for me, a couple demos gave me motion sickness. Coupled that with the shear amount of non vr games coming out this fall I decided to return it. I'll buy again when it's a little cheaper and is proven not to be a novelty item.

I'm having a blast so far. Its the strangest thing, but the experience I am having with PSVR is akin to the same feeling I get when going to a place like Disneyland and going on a ride like star tours or something. Its incredibly immersive, especially with high end headphones.

I really can't wait to see what else developers are going to do!

Imo, if you have a strong stomach & Sony fixes the tracking issues it will be worth it. But right now it's hard for me to even play because the image drifts to the sides & the Move isn't tracked right in shooting games. No idea how Google Cardboard doesn't have problems with image drifting but PS VR does.

Try it first , then ask yourself if it's worth it.

No it's not worth it, it's still restricted to what it can do and it's not as good as the other devices.

Everyone I spoke to who bought it love it and the local shops can't get any more stock. I think we should see a big influx in games as it has sold better than the other vr headsets already. If stock returns to availability for Christmas I think the install base will just increase rapidly especially since you can demo it in store which you have to do if you haven't tried it. I think there will be some incredible experiences coming probably better than any game. I can see something coming from no where and just push this main stream.

After a couple of day's with PSVR I've come to a conclusion. I don't think I want to play in 2D anymore. The immersion is excellent and even better than I expected. The positional tracking most of the time is superb. Main problem so far game wise is DRIVECLUBVR. It's knackered. Hope patch coming very soon!

PSVR is just great! Since mid-day Oct 13th, I have been playing Rigs, Eve Valkyrie and Driveclub and I have only stopped to eat, sleep and for my daily ablutions. Nothing else exists for me at the moment. It is like gaming has changed overnight. I have taken a week off to get my fill of VR and 3 days in I regret not making the break longer.

The set up was just not completely straightforward and you also need to peel off the plastic protective sheets from various places on the headset (especially the lenses). Other than that, the whole process was simple and within minutes I was gaming in VR. The graphical quality is not as good as one expects when you come off playing say, Uncharted 4 or one of the later games but one soon forgets this. I hope next version of PSVR will be even better and give us higher resolution and better graphical quality.

The headset is really comfortable but I worry the headbands within are not going to last very long. Maybe I am being too delicate here. Otherwise, I am amazed how Sony have managed to balance price, quality, and accessibility so well even though the PSVR hardware is the weakest of all three major brands. I am sure this is down to Sony's experience as a hardware manufacturer but even so, this is a difficult balancing act and Sony has managed to pull it off. There have been no major issues regarding the distribution of the headsets and the equipment works as it should. The games are fun and the price is right. If VR is going to succeed for all three major brands, it will be because of the goodwill created by Sony with PSVR. I hope Sony sells millions of these and that the success will feed into the industry for even better hardware and games.

The 'Kitchen' demon from Resident Evil 7 is really good and very immersive. If this is the kind of experience that awaits us when it releases, the game and PSVR are going to succeed.

There are some tracking issues with the PSVR and the image will drift, more so on some games than others and Sony needs to issues some updates fast. However, since Thursday noon when the PSVR was delivered to now (Sunday morning, 9.30am) I have played about 36 hours in total and I cannot get enough. I have played 5 different games, rotating between them after 3 to 4 hours and I am addicted to VR!

meh...wasnt impressed with any vr headset so far. i guess vr isnt my thing. ill wait till better tech in the future arrives.
