I've had no issue with the episodic structure. I get to play a level to death, get my fill of stealth action. Switch gears for a couple weeks and come back when a new episode releases or elusive contract. It prevents the game from getting stale. That's just my opinion, but like I said I've had no issues with episodic structure in this game.
