Gravity Rush 2 Update

In July, we announced a release date for Gravity Rush 2 that we felt most appropriate for the title. Since then, though production is proceeding smoothly, the landscape for that release date has changed dramatically.

So it leaving more room for TLG.

FITgamer3488d ago (Edited 3488d ago )

Silver lining is the premium DLC is now free. It'll give me more time for BF1 and Gears.

Nitrowolf23488d ago

1 months delay isn't bad at all

With all the games coming out this October alone I'm a little glad there will be a good enough break in December to catch up on everything.

That and at least the DLC is going to be free now so it's definitely a worthwhile trade off in my opinion

Ye less games is always a bonus

Thatguy-3103488d ago (Edited 3488d ago )

Regardless of its reason they truly need to stop doing this. It's become a joke now. Stop giving release dates that dont mean anything. They truly need to wait it out and announce a date when they know for sure the title will meet it. It has become frustrating at this point.

UCForce3488d ago

Well, hopefully they can improve that.

uptownsoul3488d ago

Sony gets hammered either way they do it.

If they announce a date & then have to move it...They get criticized
But at E3 they announced a bunch of games, followed your advice, & didn't announce the release dates...They got criticized for that

Thatguy-3103488d ago

I fully understand why they did what they did at e3. They should stick to that regardless of the criticism. Pushing back titles looks worse. No point in giving release dates that dont mean anything. I understand they're pushing it because of the titles surrounding its release date but January is packed as well

OB1Biker3488d ago (Edited 3488d ago )

What's become a joke is gamers overreacting to a few weeks delays that are quite to be expected.
I'm not taking about you or anyone in particular but what on Earth does it matter if a game is releasing a few weeks later?
It's 'frustrating'?

Edit: seriously why does it matter so much?
I can understand some people being impatient but why the jumping up and down and whining from some?
Santa delivery missed?
Fanboy wars lists for holiday line up missing the year for a few weeks?
Annoyed about the trolls?
I mean its not like there's no game to play in the mean time.

freshslicepizza3487d ago

it's obvious sony has a pettern of clearing the holidays for third party titles because they can since they are the lead platform and will get the bulk of sales. this way their own games wont be so crowded and get more attention. smart of their part but so obvious since it keeps happening every year.

zivtheawesome3488d ago

well they do give you free DLC for that so i think it's not bad for people who interested in the game (i am saving up for FEB stuff).

KiwiViper853487d ago

Announcing free DLC, before the game releases is wrong in itself. It's not DLC, it's part of the game.

QUIMICOMORTAL3487d ago

This is the first time, I think , that the delay is not because development. They were already on a tough date, and to contend with Last Guardian, well, I think they had no choice.

But whe have you seen a dev giving free DLC because a delay?

Kashima3488d ago

WTF its n same week as Yakuza 0 and KH 2.8.

TGGJustin3488d ago

Going against Yakuza 0 and KH is much better than going against FF15, Dead Rising 4, and their own first party game The Last Guardian.

Kashima3488d ago

True, its just not enough of time to play all this games before Nioh, P5, Horizon and NieR but lol at Dead Rising 4 that not even on PS4 till 2017 Q4.

DragonDDark3488d ago

Truly. I'm buying all of those anyways lmao

GameBoyColor3488d ago

Well one month and free premium dlc is a good deal at least.

CocoaBrother3488d ago

Upsetting but giving the DLC for free is not a bad trade-off.
Never would've thought that The Last Guardian would be the last PS4 exclusive from Sony standing for a 2016 release this holiday.
