is giong to be 1 of the best games of the year period and if u havent seen the gameplay it looks so good and its being played in real time and cant wait for lair, motorstorm, warhawk aswell cause i was feeling the same way #3 about my ps3

2/9. I cant wait. Then I will be playing RFOM, Then I will be able to move onto HS. And from there the titles keep coming. GO Sony Go. This seems to be the same way the PS2 went. Slow at first then all these good ass games start coming out.

Yeesssss!!!! About time we started to get some action! Watch how fast those PS3'S will be flying off shelfs come March and Beyond. People must remember, we just got done with the holiday season, not many people have recouped from it yet to buy a PS3. I know I don't, but I will have my PS3 next month and will be ready for this game on my Sony 50inch 1080p SXRD I got myself for Christmas!!

dont have the PS3 yet. I have been playing RFOM on my PS3 and it totally ROCKS!!! Its a blast to play, and I honestly cannot put it down. Also, this game is gonna kick some serious ASS. I cannot wait for this and MOtorStorm. PS3 is getting some AWESOME games fairly quickly from launch. Unlike the 360, which just recently got GOW. The rest have been just mediocre.

So far I'm not that impressed with this game.

Motorstorm, GRAW2 (probably on the 360 as that is where all my buddies play plus online should be easier to invite and all that) and VF5 on the other hand will be mine :)

but I am also telling the truth. THe 360 has gotten GOW just recently, and thats the only game worth buying. And the console ahs been out for more than a YEAR. But, the First GEN RFOM gives it some good competetion and even beats it on some degrees. Much more things happeing on screen, crazy chaotic battles with tons of enemies on at once, AI is superb, weapons are awesome, and online is way better than GOW.
GOW beats it in the graphics department, but that abuot all. The chainsaw gun is cool, but the other weapons arent all that hot.
Thats just my oppinion.

I think its unfair to say other 360 games aside from GOW are mediocre. My wifes brother is a diehard (sigh) xbox guy, and hes always trying his best to convince me that I should get one. To tell the truth I was not shaken either way. THe games were not great, nor were they $hit.I loved GOW and the capcom zombie game kicked ass. But all the others were kinda crap. And I don't know if this bothers alot of people but the 360 seemed very loud to me. Loud like my PC! One of the things that really impressed me about my ps3 was how silent it runs. I know that has nothing to do with gfx etc but thats just me. Heavenly sword 'looks' amazing, but I would not be surprised if it is crap. No offense but Koei games don't exactly get 9 out of 10 on gamespot and such.

I will definitely look to give this game a test drive and see if it holds up to its hype. It definitely looks like it will so far.

What I saw so far of Heavenly Sword, the game shows promise but as of now they need to give more info on what type of game it's going to be and release video clips of gameplay.

... but can we wait for some reviews before saying it`s the greatest thing ever released ? Same goes for Motorstorm (hope they improve the japanese version by the way). Few games can cope with all the hype they`re given. Let`s just not hope they rush it.

Regardless of what games 360 had out prior to GOW has nothing to do with 2007! Graw, Oblivion, and Dead Rising all scored great reviews but you still had games like Condemned, Kameo, Saints Row, PDZ, and PGR3 that still impressed some what! Now that PS3 is out we will see if it has anything on 360 games this year and the next! Jin can say whatever he wants to but knowing now he is nothing more than a fanboy discredits anything he has to say period! Honestly I bet he was one of the guy's that truly believed that Killzone was better than Halo and even Halflife2! Also Rfom is a great game but you seem to be the only person saying that the game beats out Gears in certain areas!

I have a close friend with a PS3. I told him this was the game to buy. I hope I'm not wrong. But so far every thing I have seen has made this a AAA game. At 1st the textures look alittle lame but now it looks pretty good.

I think it looks ok, but I'd rather spend my money on Ninja Gaiden 2. If you look at the developers past you should'nt get your hopes up too high about this game. Their only game developed before this one is Kung Fu chaos for the Xbox. Not the most impressive resumé...

I love action titles like these and the story seems promising, plus it has that lord of the rings creature actor guy working on the cinematics and stuff. Can't wait to see different environments though. That girl is smoking hot.

Thats funny you guys make fun of someone saying its gonna collect dust,why would you attack him? This was the most interesting PS3 game for me even before i decided to get a 360. If the gameplay is as good as God of War maybe it's a system seller not only for me. Even more after a PS3 pricedrop.
Cause RFOM is NOT a system seller for me cause i played a lot pc-egoshooters before and it's good but just the same.

Personally I think it's what the PS3 needs to move them systems off the shelf. It's a good start to have a AAA game in the start of the year =). I will leave no fanboyish comments here, because I like both the PS3 and 360 , let's all be gamers and get along and quit mouthing each other.

I just reserved it yesterday...I CAN'T WAIT FOR HS! I know some people that have played it! They say it's way better than GOW...and that's in the top two best action games EVER! (number 1 being dmc3 of course) This BETTER be good...R:FOM was really good, but not THE BEST SHOOTER EVER! Insomniac didn't have enough time before launch. They wanted to really blow everyone away, but there really was NOT enough time.

I'm getting Motorstorm, F.E.A.R., HS, and Lair REALLY SOON...and i'm EXCITED about it!!! Yes, i'm extremely happy i got a PS3... NO REGRETS!

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Killzone game after Killzone 2 play style would be nice

Motorstorm would be epic with the visual upgrade, maybe this game would be a harder sell with the genre being not as popular nowadays..

Resistance franchise, Motorstorm and Dirt 2 which was fun as heck. Add Dead Space 2 as well.

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

Resistance series and Killzone 2 & 3 remasters/remakes. Make it happen. They will print money.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

The only reason my PS3 is still connected is because of the Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm games that I still love to play. I am for remaking or remastering them.
