This is a column where the writer takes some beloved game and finds something to complain about. Final Fantasy IX is this month's topic.

The Black Mages' Legacy, the FFIX animated series set to release in 2028, has officially moved to "In Production" at EuroVisual Studios.

Get ready to hear the FFIX soundtrack like never before when the FINAL FANTASY IX - House Grooves album drops in March 2026.
we'll get anything but the game announcement
i wonder if they had to delay the game internally and all the other unnecessary dtuff they did had stiff deadlines.
not an excuse, Square is terrible with their own damn deadlines.
The FF9 remake was part of the Nvidia leak many moons ago. Not sure what happened since then but Square seems to excel at mucking things up.
I'm an avid House Head especially the genres of Tech,NY Hard,Tribal, Deep & Progressive House including the now sound of Techno with 125 to 132 BPM. I'm very curious to how this sounds.

The tracklist for the Midnight Jazz: FINAL FANTASY IX album and more merchandise have been revealed as part of the FFIX 25th anniversary.
Lmao FFIX is so great that this article couldn't bring itself to trash something within the game like you being forced to use Trance when the mere reaches max, but rather it focused on a strategy guide for the game itself.
I am entertained.
Final Fantasy 9 is a masterpiece and one of the greatest games ever made.
Ha! This is amazing - a good commentary on the game since all he had an issue with was the strategy guide. PlayOnline really was a joke, and I always looked through those guides at the store before buying one at that point, since so many of them had useless, surface-level info.
I never got to fall in love with this game :/
It's one of my least favorite FF titles.
I think it was the character designs that bothered me - just kind of ugly. Great game otherwise though.
