Lol what exclusives bro I own both systems too and it's not even a contest when it comes to exclusives. Halo 5 bar the mp was a disappointment, sunset overdrive was awesome but no one bought it and forza is forza part of a niche gaming genre that is amazing but other than that they've had jack.

then we will see the whole pro doesnt give you anything extra its just a ps4 with higher specs articles.
Then we will see more comparisons on pro vs scorpio even though scorpio isnt out for a year.
Then we will see the whole scorpio is going to reclaim the crown ones like this one about 5months before scorpio comes out.
Then when ps5 gets announced later on in the cylcle we will get all these over again with ps5 vs scorpio...

MS haven't released official numbers for close to 2 years now. The last time they said anything it was "we're very close to 10 million", which could mean anything.

PS2 had a year and a half head start before the Xbox and Gamecube came out. So when you tell a story tell the entire story.

Xbox 360 had a year start and PS3 came out a year later, while MS , indicated real sales for Xbox 360, for an entire generation, PS3 gave gamers inflated retail numbers(go ahead say I am lying). Further, show real proof of PS3 ever winning. I seen multiple articles saying Xbox 360 won. Some how you all become blind and move goal post to fit your fake TMZ stories.

Further as for this generation, PS4 dominates, hands down, Xbox Message was off when released and to much BS around launch that made a horrible impression. However, if you take all the countries, 142 countries (PS4) compared to 66 countries(Xbox One). I think both doing fantastic given there respective territories. Go ahead disagree all you want. Moving forward, be straight up when you talk about history in gaming.

By the way Xbox is stronger than ever they have 49 million Xbox live subscribers compared to Sony with PSN having 20 million subscribers, you add the the 300 million Windows 10 users, Out of 300 million, 125 million being gamers, they have leveraged there sales to compete with Sony this generation. So quit all the BS.

You seem to have forgotten that the Dreamcast had 1.5 year head start on the PS2 and still quickly got outsold by it, so idk why you'd bring up that point. Both Xbox 360 and Wii U had a 1 year head start and they still ended up the slowest selling console of their respective generations. That just goes to demonstrate how strong the PlayStation brand is.

Oh wow you're full of yourself. Sony always gave out legitimate numbers for how much their last console sold, unlike Microsoft who's keeping the sales of their current console hidden. In fact let's do basic math. 360 launched in 2005 and PS3 launched in 2006. Both platforms reached 80 million by November 2013. That much tells you that since day one PS3 was selling at a faster rate than 360.

You act as if XO actually had a chance of beating the PS4. That was never going to happen irregardless of what message Microsoft had. The Xbox brand is not as strong globally as the PlayStation brand. As proof of this, as of now Microsoft's fastest selling console is still selling at a slower pace than Sony's slowest selling console.

PS+ has 21 million users, but the number of monthly active users on PSN was reported to be 65 million in Q1 of 2015, which means that number now should be far higher by now. There is far more traffic on PSN than on XBL.

If only they had experience of ever being number one, they may have a clue how to do just that.
They've got their 3rd console curse out of the way, so maybe they'll do a half decent job of the next one.

I see ps fans running to xbox daily. And as a day one ps4 owner, I'm one of them. Just got a xbox and Fh3 is by far the game of the generation so far for me and I'm telling you this after a DEMO

I don't think that's true. At least not for me. I gave X1 a chance, after putting off the Xbox brand for two gens, and now that I have an X1, there isn't much compelling there making me think I couldn't have just written off the X1 this gen as well.

Brought the system for QB, was let down. Tried SSoD, was fun, but annoying. Ori was good, and the best game I played on the system for me so far. Halo:MCC was good, and I'm sporatically muddling my way through the campaigns when I feel like it. Have no interest in GeOW. Forza is a good franchise, but have no interest in investing in a wheel set up on the X1 to play a driving game the way I prefer, particularly with PSVR coming soon to make driving sims more immersive on PS. Scalebound looks lackluster for a platinum game. Cuphead seems OK so will probably try that out. Been disappointed in ReCore. KI holds no interest for me. All multi-plats play better on my PS4.

I afford every opportunity for MS to impress me with their games, and will buy any game that interests me on the system. When they manage to do that more, others will also be impressed, and maybe some of this apparent lack of respect will go away, but for the time being, the lack of respect is more deeply rooted than just because there are PS fans out there not willing to give it a chance. Even last gen, when they were delivering compelling content early on, it was very hard to keep away from the system, but circumstances at the time made me forgo it. Now that I've taken the plunge, I've been mostly disappointed, with the occasional spark to make it kind of worthwhile.

You act like there is no rhyme to the reasons Xbox isn't moving ahead, and unfortunately, it's not right to blame Sony fans for it, because the vocal people do not make up the entire market. MS reasons for being behind are from their own making, PS fans are just more keen to point out those reasons, which you in turn interpret as PS fans being unreasonable and somehow damaging.

Crackdown 3 is supposed to demonstrate the "power of the cloud" in Xbox One gaming ( the first demonstration of such since being touted before the console released).

I believe the Scorpio was designed to be either a refresh or a new gen depending on what move Sony made. They didn't want to be caught out like last time, so they covered both bases.

A lot of people can only justify/afford one gaming system. They put a lot of time and effort into choosing which system to invest their time and money into, it is only natural to want to reaffirm their decision by whatever means necessary.
Others have issues with one or more of the corporate entities that own the space.

Most of the people who buy the systems work equally hard for less money in a far less exciting industry than videogames. Without the consumer there would be no industry whatsoever.

they don't make consoles just to make money. they want to make a certain amount, and they want to be first in sales. they want to be the best known gaming platform, with the best known games. i don't think they have any of that.

In 2006 the PS2 was globally the top selling console. In 2007-2010 the Wii was globally the top selling console. In 2011-2013 the PS3 was globally the top selling console

Saying they have no exclusives is like saying ps4 has no exclusives because the games are gonna be on the ps4 pro. You know why? Because these so called non xbox exclusives are only playable apart of the windows10/xbox ecosystem they're combined. Just like the ps ecosystem with ps3 ps4 and ps4 pro. Xbox is apart of the windows 10 ecosystem. But when the game goes to steam its different because the game no longer uses the service of Xbox. Im open to explanations of why im wrong. PS: I dont think its gonna overtake ps sales wise.
