Boom for me! Getting a new 4k TV and gonna experience some awesome games on it with a more powerful console. I'm happy :D

SniperControl3544d ago

Definitely Boom for me, i wont be getting one till Jan but loads of my friends have already put in pre-orders for it. It's gonna sell like hotcakes.

ninsigma3544d ago

My pre order was in as soon as it was available xD I've been on a 4k TV hunt ever since lol

SniperControl3544d ago

I may try to get it sooner, already have a 4K TV, but it doesn't have HDR, the missis will kill me if i try to get a new TV, lol, only bought it two years ago as well.

Dont forget, the PS4P also benefits full HD TV's a well.

"Dont forget, the PS4P also benefits full HD TV's a well."

yep, which is why I am ok buying it even though I don't have a 4K yet. At least some games will run better or look a little more crisp. But realistically a 4K TV was going to be on my holiday list this year anyways. This Pro purchase just gives me a stronger reason to push for one, plus look for one with HDR.

ninjazfistz3544d ago

Agree. Don't buy a new 4k tv just for HDR. Maybe get a monitor?? I dunno they usually have faster response time/less input lag and the misses won't be mad :)

Dude below agreed but didn't hit the agree button smh wtf :(

Rimeskeem3544d ago

Now my dad and I are pushing for a 4K HDR tv so boom for me.

nitus103543d ago

Great if your family get a 4K TV however even if you get a PS4pro as well you are going to be in conflict with your family as to what the family 4K TV and PS4pro are used for.

If the PS4pro is mainly for you then you should seriously consider a decent sized monitor. You can actually get quite decent and cheap 1080p monitors in the 27" upwards size although you should know that the larger the monitor the greater the cost and this is the same for a 4K TV. Obviously, a proper gaming 4K monitor is going to cost more than a 1080p monitor.

The bottom line is, do your homework and don't just rely on hype otherwise you will be disappointed.

boom for me as well even though i am not getting it day 1 but i will next year for sure specially if they announce a special god of war edition (i can only dream). Will also be going for a 4K TV next year so will just get both of them at the same time

Nephesh3543d ago

BUST! I might end up getting one later after people have had a chance to develop for them, but I'll most likely wait for Scorpio. I have both the Xbox One and 2 PS4s, so I am not biased by brand.

Prubar3543d ago

Bust as well. It's not a big enough leap forward to warrant the purchase and ditch my regular PS4. Especially since I'll be buying a new pc this Holliday, NX first quarter and a Scorpio next year. Throw a 4K tv on top of that and that's a shit load of money to drop on games.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing28d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9228d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit28d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing28d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9228d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
