Carl Williams writes, "If you are a retro gaming fan then you know the name Cinemaware quite well. If you don’t know that name then here is a chance to garb some of the best “ahead of their time” games released in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Seriously, this is an amazing collection of great games for everyone to own. Some of these games are very prominent on “abandonware” or illegal ROM download sites- here is your chance to own legal copies instead. What is cool about this bundle is that it includes both the Amiga and MS-DOS versions, when available."

"I just found out that Josue Candela is making a full-blown fan-made remake of Cinemaware's classic action-adventure game "It Came From The Desert". So here's what's known about the project so far." - Robin Ek, TGG.

Cinemaware is proud to announce that it has entered partnership with Roger! Pictures for the development of a motion picture of It Came From the Desert!

Carl Williams writes, "Defender of the Crown holds the honor as being Cinemaware’s first game. This feat is made even more compelling when you see the graphics, hear the sounds and play it on the Commodore Amiga. Add the fact that Defender of the Crown was released in 1986 and then the game takes on a very interesting aura- nothing matched its graphic prowess. Later Defender of the Crown was ported to many computer platforms such as the Commodore 64, Atari ST, ZX Spetrum, Mac and even the Nintendo Entertainment System. Awhile back Defender of the Crown was released on the iTunes App Store and it was abruptly removed without warning or reason. More recently, it returned to the iTunes App Store. The version iOS gamers can enjoy right now is the Commodore Amiga version through the power of emulation."
