Let them xbox fanboys have their dream, a few weeks ago when the first article about this popped up I tried to tell them Nintendo would come to MS's headquarters and have that thing taken down and thrown in a dumpster they'd take back with them to Kyoto and bring to a junkyard to have it crushed in a baling press before they'd throw it in the Fukushima nuclear power plant to stop up that leakage faster than it takes a starving japanese dude to swallow a sushi, and I got tons of disagrees.

Of course they would, it's a Emulation program, many online stores for Software distribution already allow such like Google play & steam...there Really is no downside for Microsoft allowing such on the UWP platform.

It's the "All your software is really ; our Software too"

Majority of Emulation programs are built already for Windows OS powered PC's this will just be another long line of Emulation programs that some small developer makes so as knowing full well that many gamers will use to trade game dumps with each other.

It's now just as it's always been , hey I can play your Super Nes, or Nintendo 64, or PlayStation one , or PlayStation 2 games on my PC with higher resolution and frame rates and some mods..

So adding in the Xbox one is just another way for the now "all your Exclusives are really ; are our Exclusives now also"

Where one platform OS becomes so dominate in the PC industry, that just like always, be that through direct or indirect means Windows OS gets other platforms Exclusive Software..

But that's why it's such a good thing for Competition right?

If people wonder why Sony is only allowing PlayStation Now and not local download or local offline play of their Exclusives and turning into a Subscription model..well one only has to look at this reason why..when one companies Windows OS get to have another's companies platform Exclusive games being able to be played on their Windows OS through indirect means..well than what does people think is going to happen?
