So I fired up the fatman PS3 to buy some classic games and it's not an option anymore. Damn you Sony!!!!!!!!

What? Of course you can still buy PSOne & PS2 classics on the PS3. As a matter of fact they even have a few interesting discounts on those during this week (and the next I believe).

On topic: why isn't Capcom keeping us informed on the progress made developing the RE2 remake for the PS4?
I hope they're not going to announce it's been canned. I'm waiting for it, and then, on we go with the remake of RE3: Nemesis! Now that should be something!

I'm surprised we haven't seen anything of the RE2 remake too. Maybe they will show something at TGS? I'll settle for a short video or a few screencaps. Anything to know it really is in development!

Ah yes, Resident Evil 2, the Dawn of the Dead of video games is now legal. Back on subject here, considering how old the game is I can give the author credit with how the game MIGHT not be as scary to a newer audience with the visuals. Is there cheesy dialogue? Of course. It was cheesy then.
As for the so-called "tank controls" I've never had a problem with them, nor the newer controls, but the old controls in my opinion always added a sense of urgency.
Now in the defense of the fixed camera that created more tension because you couldn't see the entire room.
‎Hopefully Capcom puts in a classic mode to please the purists who want the retro controls and the fixed camera.

If the murmurings of RE2 remake are true and we get Kazunori Kadoi as the game's director then we may get the remake moving in the right direction.‎

The UK Has Gone Mad for Resident Evil After the Huge Success of Requiem on PS5

Capcom recently released Resident Evil Requiem, and it's been so successful that it's seemingly dragging along every other Resi game with it.

That's certainly true in the UK; the latest physical retail charts have come in, and the top 10 includes five Resident Evil games across all platforms.
