PlayStation VR Worlds Is An Incredibly Solid Package

Ocean Descent and the London Heist were some of the very first games that had people believing in PlayStation’s VR experience but never could I have imagined them eventuating into fully-fledged gaming experiences. That’s exactly what PlayStation VR Worlds has become.

Awesome, i'll be getting this along with EVE and Driveclub VR when PSVR drops in Oct.

ninsigma3554d ago

I'll be picking this up as well. When is rigs and far point out??

SniperControl3554d ago

I think Rigs is out at the same time as PSVR and Farpoint i'am not sure.

As for Rigs(it does look really good), i'll be leaving that as i'am not a big MP player, cant wait till November when GT:S drops though.

amiga-man3554d ago

I already have this ordered, should be a great introduction to VR.

ninsigma3554d ago

I'll be getting rigs day one then :D I think it looks cool and a good show case for psvr. GT sport will probably be awesome in vr so I'll consider that at some point too, either that or DC.

C-H-E-F3554d ago (Edited 3554d ago )

I've already started looking for "racing wheel" options for Driveclub VR / GT-Sport. I saw someone playing it with a wheel and I haven't had a racing wheel since PS2 era. (dad had bought me one for xmas one year a mad catz yes it wasn't top of the line, but being a kid and having need for speed porsche unleashed did I need anymore?) Anyways... I've narrowed it down to the logitech g29. So yeah, I may not be buying myself anything for xmas because xmas is arriving early this year hahaha. SUPER EXCITED for PSVR Racing. Oh and Ace Combat, but VR racing is all I care about, that alone is worth all my "monies" lOl

Newmanator3554d ago

Pedals or just wheel? :)

SniperControl3553d ago (Edited 3553d ago )

If you can push your budget a little further, go for the thrustmaster T500rs, it's a stunning wheel for the price. Plus for a little more you get a proper H shifter. I had a look at tbe G29 but it felt very plasticly and cheap, while the T500 has a premium feel to it and also has better FFB.
Also all PS4 games work on the T500 as well, having a blast playing DC on it.

Been playing racing games in VR for years, trust me, you will love it.

amiga-man3553d ago

Sniper cheers for that info, I'll look into it as I'm after a wheel too, had a G27 wasn't that impressed with it.

C-H-E-F3553d ago (Edited 3553d ago )

@Newmanator both the whole thing, just ordered them, amazon has a 40% sale on them now, https://www.amazon.com/Logi...

Might as well play driveclub and project cars to get ready for Driveclub VR, Project Cars VR and GT Sport VR

Edit: @SniperControl

Too much for my budget bro. I don't have much time playing games and almost everything I buy I have to buy twice because the wifes a gamer. "Two VR headsets will be coming in" and that's already around 1k then i'm buying this steering wheel setup with a stand and the shifter that's another 400 (luckily she's currently addicted to shooters (COD/BF) so i'm safe in the racing department. And then the NEO might come out. So i will be spending around 2k in gaming.

Edit: Also, I like the clutch on the G29 setup, i won't have to switch out the pedals for one with a clutch.

Solid choices . Idk if farpoint is a launch title, but keep your eye on that as well

ibrake4naps3554d ago

already preordered this and resident evil!

ongbakurhead3554d ago

They are some great looking titles and I am certainly looking forward to them. Would have been great if it was included with the hmd, push the popularity of both tech and game. Try to create an identity essentially, like what wii sports did for the wii.

plmkoh3554d ago

No need, there's The Playroom for that and it is free to download.

mogwaii3554d ago

See i want to pick this up at launch but i think a month or so after release you'll see copies of this going for cheap as, its like a demo disc of sorts which i guess is a great way to start off and show its capabilities, i'll probably still get it, i'll be grabbing this, robinson the journey and maybe here they lie, im actually also excited for tomb raider and being able to snoop around croft manor in vr.

King_Lothric3554d ago

I pre ordered the PSVR bundle that included VR worlds and I also want Eve, Rigs and Drive Club as my first wave of VR games.

Can't wait!

I'm really surprised that Eve Valkyrie and Battlezone aren't on that list. They are really quite good.

Neonridr3057d ago

maybe those games did better physical sales wise. Who knows. EVE is a lot of fun.

DaFeelz3057d ago

No Rez??? That game was magical in VR. And Resident Evil (which didn’t make the list either) was exceptional. To all those with PSVR access and still haven’t played either of those two games in vr... you’re missing out. BIG TIME.

jukins3057d ago

That one was probably purchased more retail

MoonConquistador3057d ago

No Dirt Rally? What a fantastic experience that is in VR, far better than Driveclub.

The prices definitely influenced these choices as none of the lists featured any full price experiences (RE 7, Star Trek bridge crew and Dirt Rally as examples)

jukins3057d ago

Most of those probably sold more retail wise at least re7 and dirt rally, which is amazing with wheel and shifter/clutch. Star trek I rentedbfrom gamefly and just didn't seem to populated.

And skyrim is about as full price as it gets at $60 and it came out later in the year and still made 6

Dragonscale3056d ago

Dirt rally vr is awesome but it really got me quite badly. Daren't go back lol.

C-H-E-F3057d ago

Hmm, I suppose more of us skipped Skyrim than I thought, however the 3 games in this image aren't even in the list... I swear clickbaits be killing me.

ocelot073057d ago

Can't speak for the US. But the EU has a top 20.

https://blog.eu.playstation...

Skyrim came 11th which is not bad considering it only released in November. Batman was number 1 in the EU. As for Eve I honestly don't understand how that didn't make the top 20. However, This did get a retail release in the UK.

C-H-E-F3057d ago (Edited 3057d ago )

ahh okay, I stand corrected.

Aenea3056d ago

I would love to try out Skyrim in VR but am not willing to play full price for it. A €15-20 addon for the regular game would've been okay for me, but not this crazy full price stuff...

Majors3057d ago (Edited 3057d ago )

Farpoint is a great game but hell does it screw with your head...
I can only last 30 - 40 mins max
suprised its not on the list

ocelot073057d ago

I am willing to bet most people went with the Farpoint + Aim controller bundle.

hongthay3057d ago

all of my friends who play bought the bundle, as did I. That Aim is essential for Farpoint.

jukins3057d ago

Couldn't imagine playing without aim on farpoint or any other vr shooter for that matter

80% off ? do that mean games not selling or Sony promoting bundles as help to sell VR games ?

asking for clearity why this happening .

Thanks to anyone know the answer .

I myself do not play VR games nor interested in entering Digital dream world games.

URNightmare3078d ago

They always have specials for the holidays, not just VR games.
