It’s been close to five years since the last Deus Ex game came out. A lot has changed since then. Technologies have been updated, most popular engines have made the shift to support realistic lighting properties or in more technical words physical based renderers, new consoles are on the horizon and the PC platform is growing stronger by the day.

“Much of what I wrote for the game never made it beyond the official release, until now”

The Epic Games Store has a new free game, and they want to augment your life with it.
The best video cards in the world can't even come close to 60 fps at 4k.
My 290x does 99% of games at 60 fps at 1600p, but not this one.
I will say, that even though you have to turn down a few things (I think it was MSAA and shadows?), it still looks breathtaking and feels alive.
This are for those who think that 4k60 is easy to reach when not even a GTX Titan X 12GB: 43fps cant.
I dont think no console will be powered by a GPU with the power of Titan X that is a beast! with 11 TERAFLOPS and this is still 2016
Save us from 30fps Neo
While the game itself looks decent what surprised me the most was how last generation it felt. From the character animations to actual gameplay mechanics I felt as if I was playing a remaster of Human Revolution rather than a new game. I don't buy many games at launch anymore but this is one I should have waited on. I think it is a solid $40 or under title - nowhere near a $60 game although nowadays I'm starting to feel like most games aren't worth $60.
