From GameWatcher: "No Man's Sky has been out for a bit now and it got off to a rocky start. It's a big game with big ambitions and a big universe to try to encompass everything after all. That said, Hello Games isn't sitting on its heels letting problems be problems. They've released several patches already and have worked tirelessly to ensure that the game runs the way it ought to."
Sean writes: "Last month’s Remnant update caused much hilarity as you tooled with your newfangled gravity guns and customisable exocraft, transporting precarious industrial cargo across uneven terrain in a classic risk vs. reward fight. Our latest update is a whole different beast."
Open World games can be challenging in VR. However, there are some standout titles, so here's the best Open World VR games available now.
The 2026 Steam Spring Sale begins on Thursday, March 19 at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT and runs through Thursday, March 26 at the same time.
Haven't the patch notes for the last three already been detailed and posted here? I expected this to be for the 1.06 that will be coming out.
All the patching in the world will never resolve the biggest issue with the game... that it is nothing like the E3 trailers. I maxed out my exosuit/starship/multitool, finished the Atlas path but gave up on going to the center because there is no point and never saw a planet in the 70+ I visited that looked anywhere near as dynamic as what Sean showed. I never wanted multiplayer to begin with in this game... what I did want is something that looked even half as fun as the gameplay we were shown.
My take on this game is that yes it is a big let down. But still fun to play for me. I don't have much time to play games lately, if I get to play it's maybe 5 hours a week. Maybe an hour a day. (Family & work) This game has kept me entertained and I often find I want to play it over others. Now if some of my friends are online playing something else I will join them. But when I play it's normally at night during the week, so most are offline when i'm on. My sessions with NMS are very short and I don't play long enough to get bored with all the mining and inventory BS. I've been only to 3 planets since I got the game and the one I'm on now is loaded with gold and i'm just farming away getting credits. 5/10 as it is currently.
I'm not surprised they are patching the game. There was so much missing from what Sean presented at the E3 that they will be patching this game for the next 2 years before they get all the content that should have been in the game when it launched. The damn game crashed 7 times on the PS4 while Angry Joe was reviewing it. Other reviewers stated they had the same problem. Many of the goals like getting the Atlas Stones and flying to the Center of the Universe is pointless. Hello Gamers wanted $60 for this garbage. It's just crazy. Not sure how this game has a 71 score on Metacritics. It's not even close to being that good. It's a repetitive mess. The fact the developers lied to everyone about the game, after raising the price due to the hype, makes it even worse.
@thorstein
What was a lie? LMAO!! Watch these two reviews and then ask that question again. It wasn't just the MP. Tons of stuff missing from this game that was show to be in the game at the E3. You have to be a blind fanboy not to know this. Hello Games really hurt their reputation with this game.

Yes, Sean said there was no multiplayer in the game AFTER two player tried to meet each other in the game. Before that time however, this was what Sean Murray was saying. So yes, he lied; about a lot of things. Not just multiplayer.
