GOW came first and had the accronym first so it should keep it. gears of wars is just a tps game with and insignificant story and a short campaign but its still a fun game but no where near as epic as GOW, at least thats what i think. :)

God of War is GOW. It was here first and acquired the acronymn by default. It also has 3 games released and 1 on the way, making it the more prolific series.

Gears of War is GeOW. It was here second and thus cannot acquire the acronym by default, so needs to be expanded to stop it being confused with God of War.

I see you are an emotional man, no criticism intended, so let me give you an emotional example of the importance of procreating. EVERY language has a word for people that has lost spouses or parents- in english we have widows and widowers, and orphans. NO language has a word for a parent that has lost a child; because the pain is incomprehensible. I know. I'm not advocating multiple sexual partners, and I respect your virgin marriage, again no criticism. But if you are never tempted, or if you've never had an impure thought about a another woman, you are either a liar or you exist outside the human condition, and my statements have no bearing on you.

And, obviously God intended us ALL to fill the earth, he gave us all sex organs, and a HUGE predilection for enjoying their use. And, Yes, by definition, if Christ had no children, he was a biological failure.
It's not an insult, and I don't define his life by lack of children. I don't mean a failure as PERSON, just as an organism with a vested interest in survival. And isn't allowing yourself to be killed suicide?

You are right...there are no words to describe a parent that has lost a child....but would there ever be any adequate words to quantify the death of a loved one? The word "widow" is simply a label...in no way does it do justice. Yes I have been tempted...I would not even identified myself as having been a virgin if I did not have the chance to lose it....but this can turn in the whole nature vs. nurture do debate. How do hermaphrodites fit into this equation? As far as suicide, determines on how you define it. Do you feel like you got robbed of life?...or certain aspects of it?

I was robbed of nothing, I sacrificed because I love my family. And I've succumbed to no fate; I'm still living. The fact my parents died means this: nothing; sh!t happens. But it does grant me the authority to say that naming a thing helps. Having lost children I can say this; sometimes no words help. Of course I'm emotional, I'm an artist, and I get paid very well to feel and think the things others won't, especially when it makes ME uncomfortable.
And, not to be condescending, you felt the grasp and tentacles of a therapist because you are unsure of your positions in life. I feel that EVERYTIME I have a show or sell a painting. If you no longer feel this friction (as sub-conscience as it may be, and you may not be aware of it yet) your faith has died; faith cannot exist in the face of 'proof' or the feeling that you've figured it all out.

With that said, I have a pretty good understanding of my position in life....or should I say lack of position....but direction. Well I think this conversation has just about run its course....do you have any pictures of your paintings/art online?

I think you might be looking at human's purpose the wrong way. Not saying that your opinion is wrong, but you need to look from perspective.

Reproduction is an instinct in everything, yes. That is why we have those urges and all the birds and the bees. The reason why it is an instinct is because most animals/trees are not intelligent enough to understand what they are doing, they just NEED to do it, otherwise, reproduction would never happen. That all changed for humans ever since we started developing morals, speech, and understanding of what reproduction is. We developed culture that is defined by emotions. Why don't we do reproduction all the time? Because people say it is a very special thing that shouldn't be thrown around. You may say that is flawed thinking in terms of reproducing to spread DNA, but from the development of love, we have never needed to have everyone reproduce. In fact, we are reproducing too much. China has to stop people from having more than one child in fact.

You may argue that the whole point of human existence is that we reproduce, but that is not the point anymore, ever since we have gotten to the point where reproduction is not necessary. Our morals, values, and the things in our mind that we love are what drives us, what determines what we want in life.

But yes, the media is freaking out over nothing on this whole "degrading woman" thing. Milf is a compliment. Stop being an overly sensitive person and get over it.

You bring up a good point, at what point, if there is one, that reproducing reaches the ceiling...and we evolve into a season in which reproduction is not needed. Sort of reverse of those species that when nature calls for them to populate the earth again, they are able to change their sex so that reproduction can be accomplished....which that brings up a question...is homosexuality a way in which nature creates balance, because it limits reproduction in some ways. Nature vs nurture....and the understanding that there can be a change in purpose and functionality over time. Good stuff!

All I am saying is that he conflict between our base desires and our intellects is a problem. Our base desires tend to win; witness divorce rates. I don't care about your college education. I graduated from college when I as 16, doesn't mean anything. A PhD in astrophysics is USELESS, and unfulfilling. When you have lived some real life, then you will see. As a newlywed with no kids, you are a child. And no, you cannot see my art, unless you have about 30 g's to drop on a painting, as the only condition of sale I have is MY anonymity, I reject fame or notice.

Which is why the divorce rate is not necessarily based on individual's trying to win...there are a whole gambit of factors that do not necessarily link back to "win". I am not sure where you were going with regards to comments on college education...I did not bring it up as a result of trying to show intellect, but to correct your mis perception on why I likened you to a therapist. I find it interesting that you so closely link real life with having kids and being married for a while....for you to assume that I am a child because I do not have that status...you go against your very quote of "I am still learning", because it sounds as if you think you have arrived with regards to that. The fact that you sacrificed your youth would lead one to believe that you are unable to tell when somebody is a child or a adult...because you do not necessarily know that line of transition.
