TSA Writes: "Half a decade ago, Deus Ex was rebooted to universal acclaim, bringing with it the near futuristic world and its cutting edge augmentations. It was a smart title that allowed you to tackle most situations the way you wanted to. There were some questionable design choices though such as forced boss encounters and AI behaviour. Releasing five years to the day, it’s amazing to see what a difference Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has made."

“Much of what I wrote for the game never made it beyond the official release, until now”

Amazon has announced the lineup of games to be added to Prime Gaming for the month of August, 2024 and it features Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The Epic Games Store has a new free game, and they want to augment your life with it.
This is the second review I've seen, and the first one I've read. The previous Deus Ex was such a solid game, and I am really glad to see that this one is shaping up to be solid(keeping my expectations in check) as well. A lot of people's biggest issue with the previous Deus Ex was the boss fight(s), whereas mine was the button for ads, similar to Bioshock. It's something I could never get used to, and was thus never able to pull off precision shots. So happy to know that they addressed not only my personal issue, but the majority's issue as well with being able to possibly talk your way through the potential boss encounters(which is dope).
All in all, I am looking forward to getting my hands on it, and seeing what they have improved for myself. Hoping to milk at least a dozen more hours than the reviewer took to beat it, though!
