Playing right now, it's so much better.

yankolo3556d ago

Nope its not better ...i prefer the movement on the first

Saijahn3555d ago

Agreed, they move noticeably slower in TF2

OC_MurphysLaw3555d ago

Movement is definitely slower, but I think they did that to make the grapple hook feel more impact full. Overall I think it has a lot of good changes but I am still concerned that the weapon variety may be lacking. I guess we will learn more as we get closer. For now, I still intend to purchase.

Saijahn3555d ago

i noticed the AR feels pretty weak compared to the smg.

Elit3Nick3556d ago

Some improvements, but a lot of changes that takes away the fluid and chaotic feel that Titanfall 1 had:

-Titans take far too long to get, if you even get one during a game...
-Kill times are too short, it's difficult to outmaneuver an enemy if they have good aim.
-The 2 maps are poorly designed for parkour, you can't make it very far before you're forced to run on the ground.
-Almost no customization for the titans now.

RomanPSX3556d ago

Kill times bad?? Thats the best about the game. With one mag i can drop 3 or 4 enemies. Like it should be, not like bf that some one can run to cover when getting hit. Part2 is way better.

Mikey943556d ago (Edited 3556d ago )

TTK is a bit to short. With such a short ttk like now you have many people just sitting on rooftops camping that wasnt like that in the first game people were actually moving around more often.

AsheXII3555d ago

you might car to know Respawn has reduced the times for titans drastically. Plus this is not a beta, its a pre alpha to stress test the servers, there are barely any features available now.

Elit3Nick3555d ago

Yep, I saw this when I went online just earlier, although playing around more with the titans brought out more issues:

-Titans aren't as nimble as before
-There isn't enough breathing room for the titans to dash around and dodge things, it's far too easy to camp out somewhere and whittle down a titan without it being able to engage you.
-This also leads to the issue of it being too easy for pilots to jump on you, often making you feel useless in cramped spaces.

AsheXII3555d ago

Mmm, Titans a lot more nimble than in the first game. The aim faster, they feel smoother. T1 titans were sluggish and too reliant on dashes.

Tedakin3555d ago

I can make a list of 10 things it ruined from the original.

Altovoltage3555d ago

I honestly don't like this game my excitement went down the drain 2 hours into the tech test.

DeadlyOreo3555d ago

So many things wrong with this comment.

"2 hours"

"Tech test"

Man, I hate how opinionated and entitled people are nowadays.

Altovoltage3555d ago

If that's any indication of how the game it's going to play on release day then I'm not wasting my money. I partied up with 3 of my friends, we waited all day to try this game and we all came out very disappointed with the feel of it. It felt like a cheap imitation of the first one instead of an improved version.

I agree with this. The time travel mechanics. The sense of scale. The relationship with your mech. The bosses all had personalities. It's a wonderful game.

mastershredder738d ago

Yeah it was good, but it only did the time travel bit in one level. Dishonered 2 did the same thing. Now how about a game where it's implemented throughout the gameplay? Singularity says Hello (and deserves so much more recognition).

Never say never, I really didn't expect to ever see Space Marine 2 and 12 years later its almost here.
So there is still hope for all these games.

Chocoburger825d ago

I've completed 5 of the games on the list, but the author forgot to include Advent Rising. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but it bombed hard, and the two sequels never got made. It was Mass Effect, a console generation before Mass Effect.

The game is buggy and unpolished, it needed a few more months of development, but the potential was there. At the end of the game, you have all these super abilities, I remember the stomp attack that created a shockwave being especially powerful.

I personally think days gone will recieve some sort of sequel at some point. I'm personally also hoping it's not the rumored multiplayer online stuff. I'd think most that enjoyed it would rather thisnto.

Knightofelemia825d ago

Sony needs to dust off Sly Cooper and Days Gone so needs a sequel two of my favorite Sony titles. Bulletstorm I love great game wish it also got a sequel. And I wish Namco would finally give Enslaved a sequel another great game.

A best all time mecha game list without Zone of the Enders even on the list is 100% crap to me. Worth saying twice though not intentional
