Why I’m Loving No Man’s Sky

There’s a fantastic episode of the original Star Trek series called “Arena,” where Captain Kirk is forced into one-on-one combat against the Gorn. No Man’s Sky feels like the best part of that story stretched out into an entire universe.

Great article. I feel the same way. Love it!

I like making objectives for myself.

1. get more exo slots
2. get bigger ships
3. complete certain journeys
4. get better atlas passes
5. get to center of universe

Is it really that hard for gamers to find ways to keep themselves busy?

I still haven't figured out the atlas pass thing yet. I'm locked out of everything! Hoping there's some help with this later on..

When you find a Space Anomaly, go there, follow the path of the Atlas and keep warping towards an Atlas Interface and go in there. I got a blueprint for it there...

What aenea said and also go to the little things with orange beams going out the top and unlock it with a bypass chip and search for colonial outposts.

Haven't stopped playing since it came out on the ps4. Yes it has a few bugs, and yes it did crash for me, even on the ps4, but in the end, the game is exactly what I've always wanted in terms of exploration. If they manage to fix the problems with a few patches, and maybe add some stuff like base building, cool mods, etc. it will easily become one of my favorite games ever.

I'm also totally hooked, and I was really, really into Fallout 4 and Overwatch just before NMS landed but I haven't touched those since.

Was a giant sceptic of this game since the unveiling. But. After s friend brought it down and I tried to figure out the mechanics and use planets wisely for resources etc. I was quite impressed. If there is a Neo mode I may pick it up. VR mode would also be pretty sweet.

No Man’s Sky: Assemble Your Creatures for Battle in the Xeno Arena with the Newest Free Update

Sean writes: "Last month’s Remnant update caused much hilarity as you tooled with your newfangled gravity guns and customisable exocraft, transporting precarious industrial cargo across uneven terrain in a classic risk vs. reward fight. Our latest update is a whole different beast."
