Keith: When it comes to Double Fine Productions and the zany games they create, I’m no stranger to them. However, despite this, I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to Headlander. Sure it combined the tried and true formula of the Metroidvania mashup genre, plenty of combat and a touch of Double Fine’s production values. Though, I never expected a company that typically creates puzzle or adventure type games to step into this particular area. And while I didn’t really doubt Double Fine, I did have my usual skepticism and cautiously approached the game.

Xbox Wire: "It’s true, constantly bringing more games to you is kind of our schtick at Xbox Game Pass, so let’s talk about the journey these latest additions took to get from us to you! We started with the customary good luck ceremony, during which we wrote heartfelt haikus in tribute to each game, and the social media team sang their rehearsal solos for the Xbox Game Pass: The Musical."
One of the few bright spots for the Xbox One is the Xbox Game Pass. I am waiting for them to be the Netflix of gaming. Even for new titles. That's the goal. That would be so awesome. That's like their main selling point.
It's shocking how much speed Game pass has picked up recently. The selection of new games is great so far.

This is a 3 man geekcentric blog with great intentions, but poor taste. Residing where gamers go to die; The Low Priority Queue! We post every 5 days!

GameSpew: "It’s cliché to say this, but 2016 was packed with too many great games. I have my pick of favourites, but there have also been a slew of hidden gems that didn’t get the attention they rightfully deserved."
Agreed, so many good games come out during the years and nobody ever takes a second look at them because they aren't some AAA mainline series, World of Final Fantasy was actually more enjoyable than XV for me at the moment, and even fixed some of the issues I had with the Pokemon series.
Thx for this interesting list. I'm glad not to be the only one enjoying the deadly tower of monsters xD
