Pokemon Go dev explains latest update

Pok'emon Go:
Trainers,
As many of you know, we recently made some changes to Pokémon GO.
- We have removed the ‘3-step’ display in order to improve upon the underlying design. The original feature, although enjoyed by many, was also confusing and did not meet our underlying product goals. We will keep you posted as we strive to improve this feature.

Clickbait: Nothing New.

Once again they just retell the Niantic recent statement on the game update. It's not a new one.

Games crap now anyway, they pretty much ruined the game. Even their original tracking concept is a basic and pony feature. They should have an actual map of where they all are with only uncommon and rare pop up as rustling leaves.

djeby3504d ago

Yes, they ruined the catching system too. Pidgeys and Ratata took an average of 2-4 NICE throws to catch and some even run away after spending that amount of Pokeballs...

SirBradders3504d ago

Yeah I noticed that aswell makes me not wanna play, explain to me how a 80 cp squirtle jumps out a ultra curveball with a nice and berry lol.

Immorals3504d ago

I've noticed that basic pokeballs have a higher success rate than great balls now. Really weird.

iTechHeads3503d ago

My only problem is the weak Pokemon taking multiple Pokeballs to capture. It's ridiculous and anti-consumer. I can't sit at Pokestops all day and I'm not going to pony up real-world cash for Pokeballs.....

My gf is lucky as hell. Library across the street from her is a pokestop and because of GPS being buggy, half the time she can reach the pokestop. Has like 175 pokeballs. I have to have her log on my account if she can to farm me some...

nothing more to get the hype up on a crap game
once people get addicted
they make it a lot harder and surprise surprise
in-purchase apps

as it own by google it not a company to trust

kayoss3504d ago

Nope, it was once owned by google. Niantic is now an independent company.

Gh05t3504d ago

Google makes a $30 million dollar investment AFTER the spin off and you think there is no ownership from Google... You must not understand how businesses work if you think google let 100% of that company just walk away and give them $30 million on the way out.

Just because they can now make their own decisions doesn't mean that the board members and stake isn't still tied to Alphabet.

kayoss3500d ago

@Gh05t
Yes, google did invest 30million in Niantic labs, but investment dont equal to ownership.

PiperMCFierceson3504d ago

I wander off into the woods to only find nothing. The should really make the geographical locations matter a bit more. I need to be in a densly populated area to find Pokemon. I like to Mon in privacy ....

Mfw when I find more water types than rock types and I live in a mountain town with very little water
