This is a comparison that will probably get your emotions running high, as it represents a shootout between apples and oranges. But it is also a comparison that is extremely relevant, as it reflects the current market and answers very important questions about the current offerings from AMD amd and Intel. Tom's Hardware decided to put AMD's most efficient quad quad core processor up against one of the fastest Intel intel dual core CPUs: it's the AMD Phenom X4 9350e 2.0 GHz against Intel's Core 2 core 2 Duo E8500 at 3.16 GHz.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Was no surpise to me the C2D walked away victorious because of higher clock speed and the fact that apps haven't really been coded to take advantage of quad cores yet
This christmas I'm building a new computer will probably go w/ a Quadcore (Intel) since in my eyes Quadcores will last "longer" then Dualcores in regards to me not having to swap out the CPU anytime soon once it's all built and ready to go
unfortunetly i tend to go for amd as there more effeciant
but thats just me
Does this mean it's better to buy a dual core than a quadcore or intel is better than AMD? Or maybe it's better to buy CPU with a higher clock speed than CPU with more core? Cus i don't realy understant how you can compare two almost completly different objet. In the end, i realy just don't know what it mean to have a any one of them.
