Herein lies the problem. If the base game is complete and worth the asking price, who cares? But they always try to look for some method of baiting you to buy them, usually some subtle way of gimping the game ever so slightly... even if they claim they're not important or 100% optional. Bottom line, they wouldn't put the f***in' things in the game if they didn't want you to buy them.
Plus, adding them to a full price game? Don't these things belong in free-to-play games?
