It's time for Throwback Thursday, and this time it's a fond look back at World Heroes, one of the kookiest forgotten fighting games on the Neo-Geo.

Neil writes "The NEOGEO has a lot to answer for...namely bringing us some classic games. Now though, a couple of those games are available on Xbox One and you really won't want to miss these - especially if you like a bit of retro!"

Triverse writes, "SNK Playmore is known for their fighting titles both in the past and the present so why not re-release some of their better titles on newer consoles? That brings us to World Heroes, a brand that reached four releases with the actual different titles being slightly lower (think Street Fighter II and it’s many revisions that Capcom added on hyperbole for)."

Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words can leave permanent, emotional scars and traumatize you for life.
Women are masters of psychological warfare, especially female brawlers in fighting games. Enjoy (or cringe at) the following humiliating, belligerent, and insane post-match insults.
Oh man, Lizzy Caplan and I are super pissed. We're gonna sit back and make snotty comments about these girls, but then I'm gonna fall into their trap and become one of them NOOOOOO!
I'm sorry, Tina Fey! I never meant to become a Mean Girl.
I am Lindsay Lohan in this particular N4G comment.
Hey, if some super-hot chick beats the crap outta you, she gets to say anything she wants to your grateful ass.
My favourite female fighter of all time will always be Vice from the King Of Fighters series. I love how she she crawls on top of the loser's body and says "I guess there's no more bones to break...."
A real turn on for me.....
Love this underrated series so much. I still toss World Heroes 2 and World Heroes Perfect in my 4-slot big red from time to time. Captain Kid FTW!
