Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Heaven help them if the 48 hours pass & no fix, or can't be fixed. Why release it in the first place with this issue?
Seriously? "First off, the RX 480 does not pose a risk of damaging motherboards as previously speculated, according to AMD." Yeah because AMD is just going to admit it's cards can damage motherboards. Not to mention the didn't say it couldn't (because it can) they said they were confident that under normal uses it shouldn't... Guess what that doesn't include, Overclocking, luckily AMD is not responsible for damage to hardware if a card is overclocked. And having your PC shut down every time your gfx card is stressed isn't good for anything software or hardware. For a budget card you are limite to what budget boards you buy because the power went out of its rated bounds. This driver may fix it, but to say that it's not a big deal is letting people get way with crap.
Now we have day one patches for brand new video cards too? At some point these things need to just be released working.
