Driving Theory Training for Nintendo DS was released last week, and publisher Atari has confirmed to MCV that they are already looking at next year's update.
The game failed to make an impact on the ChartTrack Top 40 this week, however Atari's Lee Kirton insists that he never expected the game to fly off shelves, with the publisher targeting long-tail success.

Eurogamer has posted their DS roundup which features 3 DS titles. The scores are as follows.
Prey the Stars - 9/10
Subbuteo - 4/10
PictoImage - 5/10
Bakushow - 2/10
Driving Theory Training - 3/10

DS-x2: There's certainly a lot to recommend in Driving Theory Training and the basics such as recognizing road signs and recalling rules are covered with a suitable level of detail. Other aspects don't come off as well unfortunately and the various driving and parking exercises are actually more difficult than controlling a real car. Overall though, if you do happen to be sitting your test in the next few weeks this is well worth a purchase and definitely better than trawling through the book itself.

It may not offer the thrills of some other DS titles, and some of the mini-games thrown in are admittedly a little weak, but on the whole this is a fairly well thought out revision tool that's likely to be far more useful than a lengthy How To book.
