The much-anticipated release of the Sony’s PS4 exclusive Spider-Man finally happened last week and it received a lot of praise from both the fans and the critics. Lyncconf brought us some of the absolute similar games like Spider-Man that provide us with a huge world to explore and a lot of exciting gameplay elements.
Spiderman is doing very well for himself at the minute. An awesome debut in Civil War and a (hopefully) great game on the way too...
Looks fantastic really and if Marvel are truly interested in going into games, expanding both what they've done in the Cinematic and TV universe they've built up, then I can't see it being anything but a great thing. Especially if they work to make actual tie-ins (something that is, granted, lacking between film and tv).
My only concern, being a natural cynic, is that while they say that it's all in-game footage, is that in-game as in on the PC's they're building the game on, or actually on a PS4? I'm guessing the former, because that's how it always works. It wont look that great when it's released, I'd be surprised if it does anyway, but I can imagine it being great if it's anything like Spider-Man 2 was!
I hope they do it in V.R.
