Eyes on FF: " I still love Final Fantasy X in a familiar sort of way and I can appreciate it's good qualities, but after so many years together, it seems the negatives that I previously ignored are making themselves more apparent. Especially since I've been seeing other games from all genres, and seeing what else the world of gaming has to offer. Here are the things Final Fantasy X does that I don't remember it doing while we were dating."

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Cultured Vultures: We’ve rounded up the most well-aged PS2 games out there, just in case you’ve been meaning to revisit some childhood memories, or even if you’re checking out the PlayStation 2 for the very first time.
id throw haunting ground into the mix. it still looks fantastic.
but i still dont quite understand why we never got a dragon quest 8 remaster for ps4. even the damn 3ds got one.
Silent Hill 3 was straight up sorcery. It has better hair animation than most modern games, which is wild to me.

Take it down the memory lane with this ultimate list of the best PlayStation 2 games of all time. Just the best of the best right here.
It's so disappointing that to this day, I have not seen a game match what BLACK offers in an FPS.
The greatest console of all time !!!!
The last console from when gaming was pure, games didn't take 5 years to release, no online only, no half finished games, no mtx.
Ps2 was just banger after banger after banger.
It will always be my favourite.
I love FFX, but sometimes, the conversations and animation movements are so exaggerated and super cheesy, almost making feel like a fool, hoping nobody decides to walk in at that very moment which would only make me feel even more foolish haha.
I personally never really liked FFX. Especially after playing FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX you will see that FFX doesn't feel much like the older games
Thankfully FFXII was much better. But then there was FFXIII...
I kinda like FFX's quirks here and there, they bring a sense of humility to the experience and remind you that you kinda have to fill in the blanks to make the story your own. The game is not perfect by any means, and that's what makes it real. It IS an older game now, also, so I'll let it slide compared to new games. I didn't think the remasters were super high quality either- still seems very PS2.5ish.
I guess to get the real FFX nex-gen experience, we'd have to see that FFX-3 Nojima was talking about. I don't mind, as long as it's not held back by that disaster X-2 and doesn't impede on FFVIIR. Maybe Tabata/Nojima could pull it off?
I agree with some of these. It was incredible for its time. Had it been released today, it would probably get mixed opinions like FF13 does.
Nothing.
