Will BioWare choice of going with a female protagonist effect Andromeda?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."

Today, Koei Tecmo announced its financial results for the full fiscal year 2025, related to the period between April 2025 and March 2026.
You'll still be able to create a Male protagonist, its just that this time the female version is the new poster girl. I'm not worried what Bioware decide to do, the Mass Effect series was far more enjoyable playing a Fem Shepard on Renegade anyway.
I don't care if they use the male or female character lead in their trailers/demos/marketing as long as the game is awesome.
However, I do hope Bioware lightens up on some of the overt gender issues they have really been shoehorning into the DA series (looking at you Anders) the past two games. I just don't want them to try and push an agenda at the expense of quality character creation and story writing.
If it is truly part of the story that's fine, just don't force it into the game to check a PC box.
Same way they pulled it off with a male protagonist. What kind of question is that? lol

I dont understand the question Its still your own choice to go with male or female character isnt it?
Um it's the same as the last trilogy. You could be female or male then. You can be female or male now. The only difference is that they switched the default one to a female.
